• Lost Hope
    Day by day.
    Night by night.
    What is important to me
    Strays farther from my sight.

    I lost my view
    Of your hue.
    Long long ago.

    Through shadows and darkness
    May I stride.
    With only pain and suffering
    At my side.

    With my depression,
    Feeding and growing.
But far off in the distance
    I see something glowing.

    I wonder I wonder,
    What may it be?
    As I get close,
    It reveals itself to me.

    My eyes widen
    With happiness and glee.
    It is hope.
It has come to save me.

    I look closer,
    At its face.
    Amazing and beautiful it was,
As if it was blessed with God’s grace.

    I think and I remember.
    Now it is all clear.
    That hope, and that face,
    Is you my dear!

    My faded memory
    Has been born anew.
    How do I remember?
    I recognize your hue.

    With you here,
    As my right-hand man,
    Nothing can stop us.
Our possibilities are as never-ending as sand.

    Just as I thought
    That life couldn’t get better,
    Pain and suffering return,
As light footed as a feather.

    I wondered why.
    Why have they returned?
    As I thought,
    My depression churned.

    I looked to hope,
    For help in this fight.
    But when I turned around,
    She was nowhere in sight.

    I was all alone,
    Once again.
    She’ll never return.
And im shrowded in darkness and sin.
