• When The Sun shining brightly
    The Moon fades away
Not bright in the daytime sky
    Compared to The Sun's ray

    At night the tables turn
    The Sun takes a break
The Moon rushes to the sky
An appearince he's sure to make

The children played while the sun was out
They had to be in by eight
For children should not be about
When it gets to be late

    The Moon gets the teenagers
    Sneaking out at night
    Seeing eachother once again
To them is the greatest delight

In the middle of these two times
There comes the time of dusk
Where both the Sun and Moon
    Sit apon the corn husks

They talk about the Sun's day
Or night to come for the Moon
However they can't talk for long
    Night is coming soon

There is also the time before the day
    The people call it dawn
    The Moon looks in sadness
For soon he shall be gone

Thats the cycle of the days
It goes on for several weeks
    Untill the new moon arives
    Amongst the hills and creeks

    The Sun has immortality
    The Sun will never die
But when it comes to the Moon
    Each month it says goodbye
