• The rain beats down against the cement,
A lulling sound tha6t upsets my breath.
Hushing noises defining in the silence,
My heart stirs and the feeling of home arises again.

With the first drop comes thousands,
Faster and faster till the down-pour hits.
Like a hidden force or a long lost friend,
My feet take steps to my safe haven.

    Silence too loud as,
    The rain pelts my skin,
    Feeling warm again.

    Thunder sounds in the distance,
Rumbles fill every molecule of my body,
As the lightning has a war with the dark.

This whole process bringing me closer to what goes on in my heart.
Glimpses of light trying to fight of the night.
Washing waves try to cleanse the ever dirtying,
The low rumble a distant voice trying to grasp at the sinking.

    That war inside me,
Making me want to scream out loud,
    Hushes me instantly.

    Like this phenomenon,
No one truly knows who I am,
Take the time and it would be so proclaiming.

    As the storm wears on,
    I am relaxed again,
No worries to constantly hear about,
    No one thinking they know,
Just peace as it wears on.
