• The Girl in the Corner

    In the deepest, darkest corner
    Of the smallest darkest town
Sits a girl of deep depression on a little wood stool she is bound

Not by ropes nor chains of such
Yet by the pain of the heart
And with such pain her emotions fade…
As they all turn to hate…

    Quietly in her little room
She sits there waiting for her doom
As ears streak down her cheeks
    She feels herself growing weak

Alone in he corner isolated from the world
She sits there cold as a stone
    Facing the wall,
    Facing the shadows,
She sits in the dark all alone

No one comes to save her; rescue her from such a world
    No one looks after her,
    No one cares,
    She sits there all alone

    Then when morning comes,
They all realize what she has done…
