• There's a place,
    In my minds eye.
    It's a beautiful space,
    I'm not going to lie.
    Yet it's still lacking,
    Something no one knows.
    The cover isn't slacking,
    But it still shows.
    The flowers may be beautiful,
    But the sent is missing.
    The couples may be origanal,
    But no one is kissing.
    The townspeople all hurry,
    Without giving a second thought.
    The rats still scurry,
Even though they haven't been taught.
    They don't care,
    That something is missing.
I don't think they want to be aware,
To the things which are disturbing.
    They've shut their eyes.
    And ignored it all-
    All the terrible lies,
    And the whore's call.
    That's the way,
    Society acts.
    This is how it'll stay,
    Until someone attacks.
    So this is my warning:
    Don't stay quiet.
If something sends your stomach churning,
    Don't buy into it.
    Plan a revolution.
Scream at the top of your lungs.
    Find a better solution.
Listen to the songs that have once been sung.
    This is my final verse.
Listen to the people around you.
To those whose lines aren't rehearsed-
Those whose mind won't be aloud to.
    Keep the rebels words,
    In your head.
    Preach it to the hoards.
    Dream about them in bed.
    Make a stand.
    Change the way we think.
    Don't be so bland.
    Take things to the brink.
