• he sits there weeping at her side,
    knowing that shed never lie.

he sits there with his life,
    alone.
    he sits there, just sitting.
    no emotion shown.

his life was gone the minute
    she was.
and he knew that it couldnt
    last, because -
his friends never accepted her, the way
    she was.

she was radiant as the sun, her voice
was the sky. her eyes were the stars,
and her mind, you could not defy.

she had a way of thinking, that even to him.
could make anyone smile, laugh on a whim.

he one of the most sad.
    he one of most denied.
he one of the most neglected,
he, the one who couldnt resist to cry.

hed left her, because his friends didnt approve.
hed left her, because he hadnt thought it through.
hed left her, and now. she was gone.
so he picked up the note she left,
and it started to dawn -

he really had loved her, all those times that hed
    lied.
    saying that hed hated her,
    laughed at how she tried,
to tell him of her passion.
    which he shared, aike.
    tthat compassion was dead,
    and so was his mind.

"this was too far. im gone for good.
you broke my heart, i really did love you."
he read the lines, over again.
to make sure it was a lie,
that he could remember back when.

he thought about it, a few times through.
the he picked up the razor she'd used, and whispered.
if youre going to bleed, i will endure too.
for a last time, he held her in his arms.
    he kissed her too soft,
    he kept her from harm.
then he picked up the razor, finally again.
and started bleeding, 'til his clothes turned red.
he began to feel the sting, and kept his arm
around his last love. he fell to the ground with her.
and listened to death from above.
