• Why do I cry out that my life’s at end?
I don’t know why my curious dear friend,
My tears may go from there to somewhere then
My tears may slither down small winding bends.

There are good tears and bad ones too,
I cry ‘till the point I’m resting on you.
You tell me to breathe while I scream boo-hoo!
Then you whisper in my ear, “I love you.”

I turn to you like you were really there,
But instead it was my big teddy bear.

I walk downstairs and out my glass front door
And stood on my lawn, I fell to the floor,
It was cold out on my snow-covered lawn
Everything has changed, since you have been gone.
