• Screeching, crackling, little cacklings
    Crepitations? Yes they were
For now that dusk has arrived
    The animal calls concur

Faineant owls take to the sky
    And tigers prowl the timber
A pack of wolves begin to spry
    tailing victims not as limber

The desolate moon hides it's face
As brilliant light blinds the trees
    Dark vanishes without a trace
    Leaving behind a chilling breeze

The busy bees come out to play
    while others sleep and complain
Squeeling bear cubs start to fray
    Morning has arrived once again
