• Bottling sufferable feelings
Sealing tender cuts with lemon drops
God sent her here but for what purpose?
To saunter the streets followed by rain clouds
Nothing in this world will nourish her hunger for love
Crying from the dawn of day to the dead of night
A car wreck years ago began this story
Of a girl without a friend to heed her troubles
Instead the target of a school of bullies
Bruises cover her arms and bloody knuckles
Stain her clothes caked in dirt
Why is she alive, where’s her happy ending?
She may not be Cinderella, maybe not a princess
Maybe a slave of neglect and a broken soul
Someone hear her, someone hold her
She’s looking for help in a place it will never be found
Where’s her guardian angel, where is the voice?
The voice that once told her that she would be okay
    Mistreatment never existed until now
She wants to hide in her shell and die
Because the illness that infects her spreads
And soon she will be gone, in the clouds with mom and dad
She sings suicide, but they sing freak without a leash
They call her a freak when it’s their fault that she’s decided
Her fate, her death, her deathbed, her never happy ending
Her nightmare is ending, her nightmare has ended.
