• Mr. Roberts loved his family. He loved to spend time with them. He never though loved Christmas. He believed in the birth of Jesus and everything that happened then just didn't like the gift part. He always got so gloomy and grumpy during that time. Well he was a wrestling coach. He and his team went to this match against this poor school. This team was so poor they didn't even have the proper head gear and other stuff they needed for wrestling. Mrs. Roberts was there and saw how much her husband was gazing at the poor kids. After the meet he kept talking about the poor school. Mrs. Roberts saw how much her husband was worried about the school. Mrs Roberts went out and bought wrestling equipment for the poor school and left it by the door to the poor school. Then she wrote down what she did and put it on the Christmas tree for her husband to see. When he read the letter of what she did he was so happy. That became instantly became a tradition for the family. They did it for many years. Well one year Mr. Roberts died of cancer. Mrs. Roberts was so sad those holidays. The kids decided that they would do some good deeds and write what they did and put it on the tree for their mother to read. Mrs. Roberts was so happy that day. What the children did was for their mom to make her happy again but also for their father. The family now doesn't care whats under the tree for them but whats on the tree to see what someone did for others. They do it now to keep their father alive in their hearts.
