• A little boy cries, tugging his blanket behind him. "I-It's the darkness moma..." It's the darkness. Did you know....That the boy is blind? How do you fear darkness when you have no perspective of light? We do it everyday. We fear things that will most likely never happen. And we know that, too. But it clouds our hearts all the same... We fear sickness, death, rejection, having no perspective of the future or what it will bring. A mother's warm embrace comforts the boy and stems the flow of his tears, lulling him back into a deep sleep. The fear is gone. But what can stop the darkness, the fear that clouds our hearts? "It's the light mama..." He murmurs.... It's the light.
