• In the animal kingdom, the animals are ranked not by species but by classification. The carnivores, then the omnivores, and lastly the herbivores. Omnivores usually eat a mixture of meat and plants as well as neutral foods. Carnivores eat and can only eat meat. Since the Carnivores rely on meat they sometimes prey on omnivores. Herbivores rely on the food of plants making them easy to be found in places with lots of vegetation. These three classifications make the kingdom of animals. The kingdom of animals is a place where half animals and half humans known as halves roam. The kingdom is ruled by the lion fullblood. Only fullblooded and quarter-blooded halves live in the royal court. The main three animals to be known with fullblood are the lion, the tiger, and the leopard. None are sure why the big cats were chosen as the fullbloods nor do they know if there are any others. Most believe the lion is a symbol of courage, the tiger as strength, and the leopard as wisdom. Most carnivore and omnivore halves are forbidden to harm royal quarter-blood herbivores. Normal herbivore halves are naturally prepared to defend themselves against harm. The only difference between humans and halves is that halves have the ability to change from their human form to animal form. Each animal has many different ways of living making the ecosystem balanced fairly. Aside from being half animals the halves still do things normal humans mostly do, but in a more animal manner. As each day passes on the kingdom has yet to know the future of it's kind.

"Yo Hachi!", a voice called out to a short young brown-haired girl.

"What is it, can't you see I'm busy?", Hachi replied as she pulled a few more weeds that had been polluting her garden since last week. A tall figure moved from behind the fence as dark rain clouds approached the skies looming over land.

"Don't you think you need to go back to the village? Those things are going to come out soon." The voice belonging to the tall figure spoke again. After a moment of silence, Hachi looked up at the figure to see Inu, her best friend, standing in front of her with a worried look on her face. Her rabbit ears and tail were already beginning to rise and twitch with nervousness.

"I'll be fine, though I thank you for worrying about me. You should head home. I'm just about to finish.", Hachi said and grinned cheerfully at Inu attempting to lighten the mood. She could hear Inu let out a hesitated sigh and nod before poofing into her rabbit form and scampering away. Hachi wiped off the sweat on her forehead and looked up at the sky. "She's right it's getting pretty dark. This is a perfect chance for those bloody creatures to come and slaughter.", Hachi thought coldly as she began to cover her garden in leaves. Hachi was part of the herbivores. She was an uncommon kind of halve in the kingdom of animals, the giant panda. Her home lay within the forest of trees. Hachi let out a small groan as her stomach growled. She knew she couldn't eat any of the vegetables and fruits she has been growing since they were for the forest villagers. Hachi felt a small droplet splatter on her head. "Oh.", she said feeling the rain start to sprinkle down. She felt her ears and tail slowly start to appear as she grew anxious of the darkening sky. "I should have left earlier.", Hachi mumbled to herself as she quickly grew into her panda form and started clawing at the ground. The brown bears she had met at a species gathering had taught her how to create a make-shift den for herself if she was ever stuck somewhere. Hachi could feel her heart beat rapidly. She had never been out alone during a rain period nor has she been alone at night either. Finally finishing her den, she squeezed herself into the hole and kept digging. She felt she'd need a little more room so the water wouldn't flood her in. Hachi could feel her claws clog in with dirt and her flank begin to get wet. Turning around Hachi faced the entrance after wiggling around for a few minutes. Hachi gazed at the rain as it drizzled down in a small stream soaking the tips of her paws. She hated getting wet but there was nothing she could really do but sit and wait. Slow hours passed but the rain only got heavier. Hachi had scooted all the way to the back of the den because of all the water pouring in. Her eyes grew heavy from the lack of sleep and she could feel her stomach growl in desperate hunger. "What should I do.", she thought as she let out muffled groans. The water had come to the point where she had to force her head into the ceiling of the den. Hachi's mind went blank. She stood still as the water rose quickly. Her heart kept beating painfully. Unsure of what to do Hachi started groaning loudly. She knew no one could hear her cries for help, but she could at least have a tiny bit of hope that someone may be out there. She couldn't transform into her human form otherwise she'd get stuck in the curvy hole. Hachi's vision started to blur while her nose started to exhale the air and inhale the water. Her lungs burned and screamed and her mind felt dizzy. Slowly things grew black. Darker and darker, but she could see one thing out of the void of black. A paw of beautiful white reaching out to her.

(Holy hell I didn't realize there was not that much dialogue. TT w TT My mistake. I apologize, This is also a draft so don't expect my grammar to be on point.)
