• Chapter 1: The Fall

An intense rushing of air, the smell of smoke and the heat of fire was the first thing he felt as he tumbled downward. He couldn't breathe, the heat was too intense. He couldn't see, the smoke was too thick. He reached, he grasped as he fell but could find no purchase. He heard several sounds he couldn't describe, then suddenly, darkness.

The first thing he sensed before he could even open his eyes was the taste and smell of Ash. Coughing hoarsely he rolled onto his knees, spitting out the ash in his mouth and wiping his face. As he stood up to examine himself he realized he was naked and covered in black ash. He tried to dust the ash off with his hands but to no great success.

He reached both hands to cover his private parts on instinct as he looked all around him.

    Where am I?

The thought came to his head as he gathered his surroundings. He was standing in the middle of a large crater with maybe a 20ft radius. The area around the crater had been completely destroyed, with bushes and trees burnt to ashes.

He seemed to be on the outskirts of a very large forest. He must have fallen through the trees as he fell, because a group of trees had been destroyed in a line as if a meteor had crashed through them. Some of them were still on fire, though the surrounding forest didn't seem to have followed suit.

Did I fall here? How could I have survived the fall? he thought as he began to take in the scenery.

He couldn't see beyond the trees of the forest he had landed next to as they were unusually tall and leafy, similar to giant Douglas Fir. The positioning of the trees however was quite strange, they seemed to come to a point and stop, as if they dared go no farther. No small trees or light foliage grew past the forests edge. However, he did see that the trees made a line all the way to the sea, and then somewhere up near the mountains in the opposite direction.

Outside of the vast forest was a great plains-land. Rolling hills of green grass seemed to go on for miles. Far out in the distance he could see great golden fields. It looked from where he was standing to be some kind of yellow bamboo shoots with something hanging down, however he couldn't clearly make it out.

How did I end up here... Did I really fall from the sky? he thought as he slowly rotated, trying to gather his bearings. A strong gust pressed against his skin and caused the tall grass to wave in the wind.

I need to figure out a way to survive, I doubt I'll survive long naked and alone in this strange place... he surmised as he took another look around. No fresh water at the ocean I suspect... but possibly civilization... he thought as he stared at the vast ocean beyond. However, the mountains look as if they form a large river, maybe if I follow the trees I will find a river... and fresh water... he thought, staring off into the distance, trying to get a better look. "I will just have to go with my gut... to the mountains!" he said to himself and took off at a run.

Speeding up he realized he would not tire now matter how fast he ran. He felt strange as he ran, but unable to comprehend why. He knew he was running, his body was physically moving, but it felt as if he were only going through the motions of running, not actually running. He didn't understand what that meant... but he made sure to take note of it. Faster and faster, he pushed his body to the limit to see how fast he could go.

Before long he reached the top of a large grassy hill on the edge of the forest and stopped to look around. He came into direct view of a massive city nestled into the head of a river. Even from where he stood both the city and the river looked huge, climbing all the way up the mountainside and into the mist of the mountain. It's white towers and walls shone brightly in the now setting sun.

Fresh water AND civilization? How did I get so lucky? he thought with a smile as he took off into a run, bolting through the grass and trees.

He ran fast until he reached the edge of the forest where it met the river. The river was very wide, but the waters calm and fairly shallow, only reaching his knees.

Without hesitation he Jumped into the river tossing and turning until the river turned black as it washed away the ash from his body. Scrubbing his face and hair more meticulously he got out of the water with a bright smile. Wiping and shaking the water from his naked body he turned back to get a drink from the river.

As he cupped his hands and took a drink he saw his reflection in the water. What he saw was something completely unexpected, but he knew not why. A strong man, short black hair, stern jaw, bright blue eyes, and a tone, muscular physique. This... this isn't what I look like... he thought as he stared at the unfamiliar face. I look like... the question came to his mind but try as he might, he could not remember... He stood, motionless, peering into his reflection as he tried with all his mental strength to remember... but no matter how long he put his mind to the task he could not.

It was at that moment that he saw a flickering light out in the forest. A fire? he thought as he tilted his head to get a better view. Getting up from the riverbank and walking slowly towards the light, he saw a familiar scene. Cracked and splintered trees in a line, the trees still on fire, though just barely.

Leaping over fallen trees and stepping over branches he followed the line of broken trees. And, just as he has suspected, the line in the trees lead him straight to a fiery crater, much like the one he had woken up in. However, what he found, he certainly did not expect.

Laying at the center of the crater was a beautiful blonde woman. Her body, much like his, was naked and covered in ash. She lay, unconscious on her side and seemed not to have waken from her crash.

Could she have died in the fall? he thought and his mind raced in a panic.

Rushing over to the woman he knelt by her side and placed two fingers on her neck to check for a pulse. She seems to be fine... he thought, wondering if it would be wise to wake her or if she needed some kind of help. I have to get her somewhere safe... he thought with a looking back towards the city off in the distance. That would be a good a place as any to start... maybe they can help.

Throwing her over his shoulder he found that she was extremely light. Or at least, she felt like she was much lighter than she should have been. However, he wasn't about to start complaining as he ran alongside the river with her over his shoulder. It wasn't long before the treeline ended and they were out on the open fields. Up and down rolling hills of grass he ran at full speed without stopping whilst staying close to the river.

They had gotten about halfway from the forest to the city when he heard a cough from his female companion. Sliding to a halt, he ran to the riverbed and set her down next to the water. She was on her hands and knees coughing heavily, but it wasn't long before she caught her breath.

"Where am I?" she gasped between light coughs as she wiped the ash out of her eyes and mouth. As she sat up, she got an eye full of a naked man kneeling over her.

Gasping, she stood up too fast and slipped backwards into the river. After ungracefully waving her arms and legs in the water, she eventually found purchase on the riverbed.

Coughing she wiped her long blonde hair out of her eyes. It was then she saw him, extending a hand out to her as she looked up at him, her dark green eyes met his bright blue ones. Then her dark green eyes wandered a little... lower. Her face turned a bright red and she backed away in the water.

"What do you want?" she yelled frantically, covering her body with her hands as she slowly backed away in the water, her cheeks still a rosy red.

He lowered his hand and gave her a confused look. "Want? I don't want anything... I was just trying to help you out of the water..." he said tilting his head to the side as he looked out into the distance as if pondering the question deeply.

"Why are you naked?" she yelled, looking him up and down, still not moving from her position in the water, as if firm in disbelief.

"Why are you?" he replied tilting his head to the other side and giving her a confused look.

She stopped for a moment to look herself over as she tried to remember. "I... I don't know..." she muttered blinking and wiping her wet hair out of her face, clearly flustered.

"Well I don't either, but I do know you'll probably be pretty uncomfortable if you're still wet when the sun goes down..." he said with a cheerful smile, once again reaching out his hand for her to grab.

She took in her surroundings, first looking at the water, then the sun, then the city and the forest. She appeared to be weighing her options rather heavily as she stood in the water, covering her chest with both hands. Eventually it seemed to him that she agreed and reached out with one hand to take his, and he lifted her out of the water.

"Whats your name?" she asked. She was covering herself with her hands as best she could, but her large bust was obviously making it difficult for her to do with one hand. She was short and unusually curvy for her size. She had a slim waste giving her an hourglass body with her large bust and thighs. Though her bust seemed much larger than it should have been with a girl of her size and weight, and her hair seemed almost too perfect for a girl who had just fallen from the sky.

He stood, running his feet through the warm sand as he thought about it. "I..." he started but as if he knew the answer, but stopped and looked down at his feet when the information did not come to him. "I don't know..." he felt like it was something he was definitely supposed to remember, but simply couldn't recall. "Whats yours?" he asked, looking to her hoping she would have more answers than he did.

"I'm..." she started just like he did, as if for a moment she knew it by heart, but when she tried to recall the information it was gone. "I'm... I..." she stuttered for a moment as she tried to collect herself. "I... can't remember... why can't I remember..." her eyes darted left to right as if searching through her mind for information she couldn't find.

She fell to her knees trying to remember with everything she had. Meanwhile he sat next to her, both of them looking perplexed before their eyes met. They shared the same look of confusion, of loss. It was at that moment that the howl of wolves turned their heads.

"We can't stay here or we will be sitting ducks I was carrying you to that city over there to see if anyone would help when you awoke. I still think it is the best plan of action." he explained, and she nodded her head in agreement.

Taking off at a run down the river, he sprinted as he had all afternoon until he noticed after a few minutes his new female friend quickly lagged behind. She was panting heavily and had to stop, placing her hands on her knees.

"Whats wrong?" he yelled as he ran back to her, giving her a confused look. "Are you tired?" he said leaning over her as she gasped for air.

"Yes... aren't you?" she asked looking up at him.

"No, I realized shortly after I woke up that running does not tire me no matter how long I run." he explained as she finished collecting her breath. "If you want, I can carry you, I noticed when I carried you the first time that you are very easy to carry." he explained.

The woman's eyes narrowed as she raised an eyebrow "Are you... hitting on me?" she said, sounding somewhat confused.

His eyes widened "What? No... I..." he stuttered as his face turned bright red. "I'm just saying it wouldn't be hard to carry you and we could make it to the city faster!" he said pointing towards the white city.

"Do you think I am some kind of princess that needs saving?" She said, folding her arms over her chest and turning her head in defiance.

"No... I... well..." he started, holding his hands out as if trying to come up with a reason to support his idea. However the more he thought about it the more awkward he realized it must have been to her to be carried around naked. "Fine... well walk..." he grunted with a heavy sigh. Turning he began to walk with his hands at his sides.

It was a long walk, but the thick grass felt good underneath his feet. The river they were following bordered close to the base of a completely different looking mountain range. Unlike the slopes of the mist veiled mountains where the city was, these smoking mountains were tall, rocky, and jagged. He must not have been able to see it over the unusually tall trees he had been following before.

"This is strange..." he muttered to himself as he analyzed the surrounding area.

"What is?" she asked, walking slightly closer behind him.

"Oh its nothing really..." he said looking back to her out of the corner of his eye for a moment before turning back around. "Its just... strange I guess.... these mountains... and these mountains..." he said pointing at the separate mountain ranges. "They could not have been formed naturally as far as I can surmise." he explained.

"Whys that? They look like normal mountains to me..." she replied, looking at the both of them closely, then rubbing her eyes as if she were having trouble seeing.

"Right, they do, but mountain ranges like these can't form like this naturally... they look almost as if they were made by something else..." he pointed out, casually looking back to her as he talked.

"How do you know?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I..." he started then stopped dead in his tracks. "I don't know..." he muttered, placing a hand to his temple and shaking his head. Simply trying to remember things about himself caused him headaches, as if his brain were slamming into walls over and over again. "It's like I know why I know what I know... but something is preventing me from remembering what that is..." he explained as he groaned in frustration.

Coming up behind him, she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "I know, I can't remember who I am either. I have been trying to remember how I got here, and who I am, WHAT I am even, but the harder I try the more my head hurts..." she said gently. "Maybe they will know in the city who or what we are..." she said, almost as if she thought she were a monster.

The sun was slowly going down, and the last bit of light was fading on the horizon.

"We need to move, I'm sorry!" he cried as he turned and slammed his shoulder into her stomach lifting her up. He grabbed her by the back of the legs and began to run at a full sprint.

"Hey!" she cried, smacking him on the back with her fists. "Say something nice and this is how you treat me?!"

"Calm down, unless you want to fight the wolves in the dark." he yelled back to her and she whacked him on the back a few more times to vent her frustration before stopping.

"...Ugh... fine." she groaned. "This is so degrading... my whole backside is on display for everyone to see!" she grunted and crossed her arms. He was running at full speed, even with her thrown over his shoulder. "I still don't understand how you can run without tiring... it just doesn't make sense..." she scoffed, trying to make herself comfortable despite the wind blowing right up her crotch.

"I could say the same about you only weighing 10 pounds." he replied back to her. He was darting through the dirt and grass without hesitating for a moment. He must have had the speed of an Olympic runner, and the stamina of a triathlon champion because he didn't feel even remotely tired.

"What do you mean 10 pounds? I can't possibly weigh THAT little!" she protested but just as she finished her sentence he tossed her into the air. She must have gone 15 feet high before she started to fall. "AHHHHH!!!!" she screamed on her way down, trying to cover her nudity as she fell. She was spinning as she fell but he caught her before she hit the ground then began running again. She was now facing the opposite direction, her head was now leaning over her shoulder rather than her butt, and his arm was around her back.

"Yeah about 10 pounds." he smiled cockily with a light chuckle.

Unwilling to look so pathetic, she twisted and wrapped her legs around his waist, and her arms around his neck. "You just want an excuse to see me naked...." she grunted angrily into his ear, her head resting over his shoulder as he ran.

"If I had wanted to see you naked I had the perfect chance to do so back in the crater where I found you unconscious." he said rolling his eyes, though while he acted confident, he was becoming ever more aware of her naked body pressed up against his back as he ran. This however only made him run faster to try and get the thought off his mind.

"You better not have you pervert!" she bellowed smacking him in the face with her palm, though it only made a smile cross his face. "Wait... You found me in a crater?" she asked, though she seemed more comfortable in her new position on his back, her tone was still a bit flustered.

"Yeah, it was the same way I woke up, I was in the middle of a crater covered in ash, the same way you were." he replied, sliding on his heels down a hill then tearing off up another and leaping down the other side.

The city came closer but night had already fallen upon them. As the night grew darker, lights began to pop up all over the city.

"It's beautiful..." she said as more and more lights illuminated the mountainside all the way up into the thick mist that was as dense as clouds, preventing them from seeing any higher.

"Yeah, really... I wonder what kind of people live there..." he wondered aloud without stopping his pace.

It was about three hours after nightfall before they had gotten close enough to the outer walls of the city to make out some real details. From where they stood they could make out three layers of walls. The first was rather small, probably only a little over 10 feet high. However it was the longest, and seemed to stretch on for miles around the base of the mountain. The second wall looked much taller from where they stood, though seemed to be much closer to the mountain than the first. As such it was much shorter in length. Though it seemed to also be much sturdier, lined with supporting columns and large towers. The farthest wall was nigh impossible to make out from where they were. It was high up in the mountainside and looked more like a series of gates than walls.

"Hey, get up on my shoulders!" he said stopping and kneeling down.

"What, why? HEY!" she screamed as he used his body to toss her onto his shoulders, holding onto her legs. "WILL YOU STOP DOING THAT!?!?" she yelled, smacking him on the head with her fist.

He winced slightly from the blow. "Ow... will you just shut up, what can you see up there?" he asked, pointing towards the city.

"Uhm..." she said looking out towards the city. As she stared, harder and harder, she began to rub her eyes frequently. "What the hell..." she muttered opening and closing her eyes, as if she was having trouble seeing.

"Whats wrong?" he asked as he tried looking up at her. Though her bust was so big he couldn't see her face, so he just returned his gaze forward.

"Somethings wrong with my eye sight... it... it keeps doing weird things..." she said opening and closing her eyes trying to fix them.

"What do you mean?" he asked, tilting his head up to show he was listening intently.

"I.. I don't know..." she stuttered, smacking her head a few times as if knocking some sense into herself. "My eyes... they... keep zooming in and out like a magnifying glass whenever I look at things far away..." she grunted, trying to fixate her eyes on the city.

"Well, see if you can control it somehow. That could be useful if you could master it." he said, throwing his arms over her thighs and holding her tightly in place.

Placing her hands on his head she held her body still. "The harder I focus, the closer I can see, but much farther than I... remember? Or was... was this always how I could see? I can't..." she leaned forward, placing an elbow on his head as her hand grasped her forehead. "I... don't..." she muttered.

"Don't try and remember." he said, cutting her off. "It's pretty obvious anytime we try to remember anything about ourselves we only cause ourselves pain, instead, lets try and focus on the now." he counseled as he tried to get her better situated. "Can you see any guards?" he asked.

Sitting back up straight she tried to look once more. "If I focus slowly, I think I can control how far I can see." she muttered, running her fingers through his hair gently, though unintentionally as she focused and causing his face to turn red. "I... I..." she muttered leaning forward, her arm leaning more and more heavily on his head until she slipped and she fell forward, her breasts smacking him hard in the face and knocking them both backwards onto the ground.

"Ow!" she groaned as they hit the grass, slowly opening her eyes to see him with his face between her breasts. "GET OFF ME!!!" she yelled smacking him in the head and forcing him to roll off her.

He groaned heavily as he rose to his knees. "First you smack me in the face with your fat cow utters, then you punch me in the head?" he bellowed angrily at her as she stood with her arms crossed looking in the opposite direction.

"Cow utters?!?!? How dare you! I don't know why I look like... this..." she yelled back then turned away again with a stomp of her heel.

"Whatever..." he groaned angrily. "Well did you see anything useful?" he grunted with an unamused look.

"Well, if you MUST know..." she started and then turned around to walk past him, pointing at the first wall. "I saw a lot of guards, but they are small... like... midgets or something." she said in frustration, shaking turning away from him again.

"Hmm... were the carrying any weapons?" he asked moving over to stand next to her.

"Well... I think they had spears, and had weird torches or something, it was hard to see clearly." she spat, still flustered.

"What a useful ability... I wonder why I can't do it..." he said trying to make his eyes see farther but to no avail.

"Really?" she turned to him with a confused look. "It seemed kinda stupid at first..." she muttered, nuzzling her toes in the grass.

"What? No, its awesome, and I bet its going to come in handy all the time, make sure you get used to it so we can use it in the future." he said, giving her a lighthearted smile.

"Okay!" she said with a cheerful smile, turning to face him. It was then she realized she was facing straight at him with her arms behind her back, completely nude, and he wasn't staring at her face. "AHH! PERVERT!" she screamed covering herself by sitting and wrapping her arms around her legs to cover herself.

"Whats a guy to do around a beautiful naked girl? Cant blame me for looking." he chuckled blushing slightly. He was clearly not as ashamed of his nudity as she was, and for good reason. He looked amazing, or at least, that's what he thought.

"Yes I can..." she mumbled, blushing furiously.

"Well anyways, we should proceed with caution, if we spook the guards they may attack us on sight." he said kneeling down next to her. "Lets proceed a bit slower and stay low, once we get close we will try to get a better understanding of what were dealing with." he explained.

She glared at him for a moment, her face still bright red, but nodded in agreement.

The two of them knelt low and proceeded with caution. It took them awhile to reach the outskirts of the walls this way, but they remained undetected. Bordering the wall was a long white road, and outside of that road were farms very similar to rice fields, but they seemed to be growing some kind of very large yellow flowers. Outside of that, barns and farm houses all painted white were scattered around in various places with dirt roads leading back to the white road that followed the wall.

Sneaking closer to one of the barns they hid behind a wall and peaked their heads out to look around. The roads were lined with strange lanterns that looked like trees with small orbs of light hanging from them. For a moment, he was stopped in awe staring at the strange glowing light they emitted when suddenly she yanked him back behind the barn wall.

A few guards were on patrol and were passing by just as she pulled him back. They were short, maybe 4-5 feet tall and had very long ears, maybe a foot long. They wore leather armor over most of their bodies with something that resembled a long turtle shell on their shoulders and knees. They carried long spears on one hand, and had large round black shields strapped to their backs. However, in their free hand they had small fires which levitated in their palms as if they summoned it from nothing.

As they passed, he pointed them out to his female companion. "Did you see that? They had fires floating in their hands... how do they do that?" he blurted out, an amazed look crossing his face as he turned to her.

She merely shrugged and stuck her head around the corner to look both ways. "Lets jump em..." she said shooting him a devilish smile.

"Wait, What?!? Why?! We don't know what they are cap...." he started but she was already sneaking up behind the patrol. Luckily, it appeared they were far enough down the road from the wall to be out of sight of the other guards, but he was still worried as he followed her up to the patrolling guards.

As they approached, she pointed at some of the rocks lining the road and picked one up.

She turned back to him with a devilish smile, but he waved his hands trying to signal to her that it was a bad idea. However, she continued without pause, sneaking even closer to the guards. They had stopped at he end of the road and were talking as they looked out into the wilds, completely unaware of their presence.

Raising the rock above her head she went to strike one of them in the back of the head when he grabbed her arm. "Stop!" he whispered, but a little too loudly and the guards turned.

"HEY!" they shouted lowering their spears and raising the hands that had fire in them.

From their perspective, two very large creatures were standing there, naked, one holding a rock above their head the other holding her arm. It probably was a very strange sight.

"MONSTERS!!! KILL THEM!" the guard shouted and they swung the arms holding the fire and threw it like a baseball.

The two of them swung out of the way and the fireballs whizzed past. When they hit the ground behind them they made a small fiery explosion, leaving scorch marks on the ground.

"s**t!" he cried as one of the fireballs nearly singed his ear. "Stop we aren't going to hurt you!" he yelled at them, but one of them was already charging at him, spear in hand.

In a complete change of character he let out a furious roar, grabbed the spear and the small guard stopped in his tracks as he was lifted into the air and slammed to the ground in a full aerial half circle. The impact knocking him unconscious as he lay on the ground. He stood there, panting for a moment as he tried to rationalize what he had just done. However he had little time to comprehend what he had just done when he saw his female companion dodging fireballs left and right, the rock still in her hand.

Taking the shield off the unconscious guards back, he charged the remaining guard. A blood curling roar came from him as he charged the guard. He slammed into the terrified guard with the shield, knocking him back 10 feet as he slid to a stop. The guard groaned and rolled over when a rock flew straight at his head, knocking him out.

Turning around he saw his female companion crossing her arms across her chest with a very proud smile on her face. He couldn't help but share her enthusiasm despite how stupid what they had just done was.

"Come on lets take their stuff!" she said running over to the guard he had thrown and dragging him behind the barn.

He rolled his eyes and groaned, but did the same. Dragging the guard behind the barn, he noticed she had already begun to strip him naked and quickly put on his clothes.

He sighed, but did the same, what else could they do at this point? They had already knocked the guards out.

The armor clearly didn't fit them. The shoulder and knee-pads were too small, and the leather armor looked more like a leather bikini.

When she came out from behind the wall wearing the armor and saw him she nearly burst out laughing, but covered her mouth to stop herself.

"Something you haven't told me about yourself?" she mocked, snickering uncontrollably as she looked at him.

"Oh shut up, you're wearing the same thing!" he blurted out, his face turning red.

"Yeah, but I make it look good!" she mocked with a coy smile, giving him a sexy pose, and throwing her hair back. However, her confidence didn't last long when a spear-tip was pointed directly at her throat. Gasping in shock she jumped putting her back against the wall.

He leapt into action to rush to her aid but before he could get three feet, spears were pointed at his throat. Stopping mid stride he stood up straight as the spears followed his neck. They were surrounded, at least 10 guards had them pinned down.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" one of the guards spoke from the back. This one looked different than the others. He wore much heavier armor that looked to be something like full plate armor made out of iron spikes. Or at least, that was the best he could describe the much more terrifying looking armor.

"You don't look like Elves... so what are you?" his voice echoes slightly in his helm. He had no weapons that he could make out, and had his hands behind his back, though, as they had seen from the previous elves, that didn't mean he was unarmed.

He merely shrugged at the guard. "I don't know..." he muttered. Trying not to look him in the eyes.

"What do you mean, you don't know?" the guard said pacing back and forth. "You don't know what you are?" he chuckled lightly at the stupidity of the notion.

"We can't remember anything..." he started, looking to his female companion. "I awoke in a field near that forest" he said pointing to the forest in the distance from which they had come. "I was in the middle of a crater covered in ash, I had no way of surviving out there so I ran looking for fresh water. Then I found her near the edge of the river in the same situation I was." he said pointing towards his female companion. "We do not know where we are from, or how we got here, we don't even know our own names... we were merely trying to find help..." he explained but the guard looked unconvinced.

"So you attack my guards and strip them of their clothes? Doesn't sound like something someone looking for help would do." he said forming a ball of fire in his hand and raising it to get a better look at his new catch.

"We didn't attack them... they called us monsters and attacked us before we could explain our situation. We were naked when we woke up, so we took their clothes... " he explained, leaning away from the fire that was close to his face. "You can have them back if you want... they don't look very good anyways..." he muttered.

"Speak for yourself." his female companion added with a cocky smile. She was leaning back against the barn wall with one leg up and her arms crossed. Several spears were pointed at her throat, though she seemed to have gotten comfortable.

The armored guard scratched the back of his neck as he tilted his head to the side. "So let me get this straight, the two of you woke up in the middle of fiery craters at the edge of the Ent Forest, have no memory of who or what you are, ran over 20 miles in the span of a day, and defeated two of my guards naked and unarmed?" he asked, placing his hands on his sides.

He shot a quizzical look to his female companion who gave him a shrug in reply. "Yeah, pretty much..." he said shrugging with both his hands.

A loud groan came out of the guards helmet. "How pathetic the guard have become..." he muttered under his breath, placing one hand over his forehead. "Bind them, the king is going to want to hear this." the guard said and they were grabbed by the arms. It became obvious pretty quickly that the iron bindings weren't meant for someone their size.

"Sir... they don't fit..." one of the guards said holding out the iron bindings to him.

"Just escort them then, you two don't want to start a fight do you?" the armored guard said menacingly, taking a deep breath and then with a powerful roar, spewing fire in a jet stream towards their feet, causing them to jump back. The stream of fire was so strong it melted the rocks and dirt it passed as it approached the two captives until it stopped just before their feet. The fire had been so strong it had even melted the area around the guards helmet towards his mouth.

The two of them only looked at each other for a brief moment of agreement, then turned back to the guard and shook their heads.

"Good, open the gates, were taking them to the King." The guard said cheerily as they were paraded to the wall. Slowly the large gate opened, and they were forced inside.
