• It was three days after L had come out of his coffin, at no later than nine am, when he was called to the room in-fact everyone was called to the room, even the half asleep Pheona. Who L figured was the worst thing anyone could do. For she glared at Leona, who apparently would rather be called Leo than Leona, in such a way that put a slight smile on her face as she picked at her feet with her teeth. L wandered if Leo got any illnesses by doing that.

Then Loki crawled into the room and looked at everyone. But he looked at L more than anyone. Loki's eyes told him that L would find the following information ether frightening, troubling or interesting. But ether way those eyes told L that it had something to do with him. That was certain.

Sensing what was about to be said L went over to the chair next to Leo and sat in his usual position. He felt quite safe and comfortable next to Leo for some strange reason. Was it due to the fact that both of them would rather be barefooted than have anything on their feet? Or was it that he felt like Leo and L were so much alike.

“L will you put your feet down!” Pheona snapped.

“Sorry Miss Pheona but if I sit normally my powers of deduction will dramatically decrease by forty present and I need my mind to be at it's best.” L said.

“Oh shut up brainiac!” she spat.

“Good show Brainiac. Presented by Richard Hammond. The series that put a 'kick me' sign in science. That's where I learned that even humans can run on custard.” Leo informed L.

“Yes and Hammond presented Total Wipe-out.” Pheona said.

“Oh that was funny to see all them poor brave idiots fall into the water and get wet!” Leo laughed.

Brave idiots, L wandered if Matsuda was on that. No perhaps not. The chances of that happening is five present max, no six, maybe seven. For even Matsuda isn't that stupid even-though that was his speciality. He and Light agreed on that.
L felt a tug in his heart thinking about him, but he didn't know if it was a tug of hate or pain. Light had been the only one who L felt the most closest to, aside Watari. He, when the case seemed to be coming to a close, was feeling down at the fact he was going to have Light behind.

“Right” said Loki interrupting L from his thoughts and snapping him back to reality.
“I've called you here because a vampire has attacked a human named Ben By!”

Immediately after the words had been spoken silence fell and there was a séance of eeriness in the room. L wandered what these words meant and what they had to do with him. Or the rest of the vampires. He was going to ask until he saw Leo rocking in her chair.

“Dose this mean danger?” she asked slightly bowing her head to hide a smile of anticipation.

    “Yes.”

    “How much?”

    “Depends.”

    “Depends on what Loki?”

“What L makes of this.” the cat said pawing over a torn page from a news paper. On it was a picture of a man with completely drained of his blood! But the corpse was odd for the body was not only missing both of its arms but also the bodies right calf was missing! That wasn't the only odd thing about the body for the left leg was in an odd position too, for it seemed to go in a complete diagonal until it reached the knee cap and that calf was there but it went in a strait line right to the point of the toe. But then there was the right foot was still there and that went in a strait line parallel to the back of the knee cap up half way up the calf.
But that wasn't the only thing that caught L's attention, for the headline he had to read twice for it said 'England's Locked Room killing, Return of the Wara Ningyo'. L Read the article.

At exactly three o’clock Saturday the seventh of May 2011, Mr Benjamin By, known by his closest friends simply as Ben was found dead on his and his mothers’ apartment. His mutilated corpse was found by his next door neighbour who was too frightened by what he saw that to say any comment.
What was most odd about the scene was that everybody that entered the room said that they felt cold and all of their hairs stood on end. There was only one Wara Ningyo present and the door was locked. The place looked like the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases that was solved by Naomi Misora an ex-FBI agent whose body is still missing after her disappearance in 2006 after her fiancé Raye Penber, was killed in the Kira case.

L frowned at that then he looked down and spotted a note, clenched in his fist. It must have been from the killer forcing the victim to write it.

    Help me
    Everyone is dead
    Love is gone
    Loneliness is all I feel
    Oh how I wish I was 13
Longer do wish this to Be
    EMber is all I see
No I wish I was with them
    Now Salience mE
    I beg Silence Me

L frowned at first. What was this? Why were the was there capital letters in random places in the note? L then looked at the closer at the note Hello Lenni that was was written down the side. But that seemed too easy and obvious. Then L looked at the corpse then it made séance. The corpse was telling the reader where the true message was. L followed the directions where that the killer instructed.

L's heart skipped a beat when he had deciphered the message, and this was a skip caused by a slight fear and that left confusion. I mean how could it be? There must have been a mistake somewhere. It couldn't really be- could it? Well L should be dead and he wasn't so why not him?

The message said, using the killers twisted directions, Hello L miss me BB. No matter which way L looked at it was the same message. Then L had a thought what did this mean for L? For the rest of the crew? Was this just a message indicating that Beyond Birthday was not only back but he knew that L was too? Or was it some twisted guy just having a joke? Both ways it was bad, and he knew there will be more murders.

“Are you sure that it was a vampire that is the culprit?” L asked to be sure.

    “Yes.” Loki said firmly.

“And how would you be able to decipher the difference between a human killing and a vampire killing?” L asked.

“Vampires leave a presence behind. A right séance of uncontrollable fear. Humans don't.”
Venice said as she came into the room. “That's why nobodies ever had the guts to investigate a murder committed by a vampire.”

“And that's also why they call upon vampire detectives to investigate for them.” Leo said finishing picking her feet and biting her toes. “Like us.”

“Yes and will you stop bighting your toe nails Leona, it looks revolting. Plus you could catch a disease.” Pheona said.

“Again what he said, it helps me think. Plus vampires don't get diseases remember.” Leo said. “Anyway I wanna know how much danger there is!”

L sighed. He had the impression that Leo loved danger and it would be cruel to not say.

“If I'm right lots.” L said.

“Yey!” Leo stopped biting her toe nails and hugged L. “I love danger!”

    “Oh brother!” Pheona said.

L didn't know how to respond when Leo had pulled away. He had the impression that he was going to be popular in Leo's books. Then he got to grips with himself.

“But, don't get me wrong, for there could be a chance that I'm the only one in danger after all the killer sent the message to me not anyone else.” L said.

Leo looked at the page and groaned.

    “So it dose!” she moaned.
