• A is me. B is also me. I am talking to myself. I always do.

"What do you think of the world, B?" A asked.

    "Apart from being unfair, it's-"

"Wait, I don't want to hear you rant again." A cut in. She sighed and asked a different question. "How about... which came first - gods or humans?"

    "Humans," B replied simply.

"Oh? Why is that?" A asked, curious.

"Each and every creature from this world originated from a concept. A concept that came from nothing. Nothing, or darkness, whatever you'd like to call it, created the concept of the world and living beings. And as nothing saw that these beings were continually growing and becoming more clever and more advanced, he wanted to take control of them.

"However, these beings were creating their own concepts."

    "And those concepts were..?"

"Basically, concepts that vanquished the foe known as darkness. It varies with every being." B said, "Some changed the whole meaning of 'darkness' and 'nothing'. Others created much more powerful beings that were said to protect us from those that wish to harm us. These powerful beings are the gods we worship now."

"That's amazing!" A said, "But what happened to 'nothing'?"

"Well, nothing was able to escape, but barely. Nothing still exists today for it believes in the concept that everyone has 'darkness' inside them. In other words, the guilt, the pain, the anger, and the hatred inside you... that is nothing.

"One must be careful. If too much negativity is held inside, nothing may come up and consume you and you might become a puppet of darkness."

A shuddered at the thought. B only laughed.
