• Braden cocked his head and closed his eyes. He sensed some kind of electrical surge. Small but there, he groaned and immediately grabbed his phone. There on the caller I.D he saw he had 28 missed calls. All from the two “missing” members of his pack. “You really that stupid?” A chill went up Braden’s spine.
It was Christian, the were-leapord he wasn't so fond of. He slowly turned around to face him. “What do you want leopard? I have no business with you” He turned his nose up at him and made his way to the bars back door. Just as he reached for the handle a surge of pain went up to his head then rushed to his toes.
Christian had shot a phaser into Bradens chest and the shock it was sending his body was hell. The bullet, specially made for lycanthropes, once in the body sent continuous pulses of 10,000 volts. This forced the shifting to occur, which for any shape shifter, was less than pleasant.

Braden’s body was on fire as he could feel his bones crack and shiver as they contorted to his wolf form. His skin felt like it was melting off the bone as it was replaced by honey brown fur. The only thing he could do was pant and whimper as his body shifted back into human and back again. “Athena!” Christian had disappeared but Braden was still convulsing and shifting on the ground. “Athena!” Still no answer from the b***h goddess. “What you whelp?!” A blue cloud appeared and out stepped Athena, irritated eye twitch and all. She snapped her fingers and the bullet appeared. “Is this what’s bothering you pup?” It fell to the ground and Braden could finally breath again.
Deciding to stay on the ground he kept to his present human form. “What the hell kept you so long?” He asked. Disregarding her mumbled answer he manifested clothes for himself, slowly stood up and groaned. He growled and stared at her “You lied. Why didn’t you say you took them?”
“I answer to no one, wolf. You’d best remember that” and with that, she disappeared.
