• Phillip Rillbay grunted as the tea pot was thrown at him, cutting his right arm, the blood running down off of his hand as a shard of the tea pot was thrown at his leg; Grunting as the shard drove itself deep inside his leg, cutting a nerve as he fell down onto the floor, screaming slightly as the air got cold and tight around his ankle pulling him into the kitchen..
Phillip lifted the stuffed owl out of the box and put it on the shelf to his left, next to the mounted wolf head on the wall. There was a knocking at the door, Phillip turned around and walked past the coffee table, put his hand on the warm door knob, twisted it and pushed the door open, looking around he stepped out, kicking a teddy bear slightly, he mumbled under his breath, Phillip picked up the Teddy bear, it was a rather modern teddy bear, but it felt like an old Victorian porcelain doll for a second Phillip thought it was, but he simply shrugged the feeling off and took it to the town’s lost and found box; Phillip sighed as he turned around and went back to his house, he had had a busy day, lifting everything out into the correct places and paying off the debt that he hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in weeks, closing the door behind him Phillip retired to his bedside for a good night’s rest when suddenly he realised he had left his kitchen light on so he got up and walked through the darkness, tripping up over a unturned carpet, he stumbled into the glow of the kitchen light he looked up, the light switch was set to ‘Off’, getting up he reached for the light switch, his eye caught something next to him so naturally he turned his head towards the source, blinking he opened his eyes, he was blanketed in blackness as Phillip started to make his way back to his room, with a cramp in his leg, he felt a gentle tug on his house coat he looked down and nothing was there; He shuddered and returned to his bed.

Phillip got up from his bed, he looked over at the mirror, something wasn’t quite right about it; Phillip yawned as he walked over to it, to his shock there was a five year old girl in a Bride’s Maid dress instead of his reflection, turning to look around to reveal that there was nobody there, he looked back seeing his own reflection. Something wasn’t right, but Phillip couldn’t put his finger on it; Phillip turned around and walked over to his wardrobe, putting his hand on the unusually cold door knob, he pulled it open, to his surprise his usual clothes weren’t in the wardrobe, there was a small child-sized red dress and a purple and black tuxedo, everything else was gone from the wardrobe, Sighing Phillip grabbed the Tuxedo and put it on, just as he was about to take the blazer out there was a nipping on his ankle as Philip looked down he heard a giggling and then a shadow dispersed off of the ground out of visibility, sitting right next to his ankle there was a teddy bear, the same Teddy bear he had put in the lost and found box the night before; He picked up the teddy bear and looked in the mirror again, he was in his normal clothes, and he was holding thin air. Blinking a Few times Phillip could see the teddy bear in the reflection, he stared for a couple of seconds but then headed out of his room, not bothering to re-make the bed, he slammed the bedroom door shut behind him and continued to proceed through the house, not bothering to make any breakfast, he Forced the Kitchen door shut and then stormed out the house, ignoring the people who waved at him and then slammed the lost & found box open, only to see a replica of the teddy bear, Phillip stared for a couple of seconds and the first teddy bear was gone, no poof, no pop, nothing just gone as if it never existed, growling slightly he forced the teddy bear back inside the box and slammed it shut, when he looked up there was a request for a Wild dog that had been killing the live stock lately to be hunted. Phillip Smiled as he grabbed the Bolt-Action rifle that he used for hunting and walked out towards the outskirts of town, there was a flask of coffee and a box of cakes, sitting down Phillip looked around, constantly scanning the area incase he spotted the dog, there was a blur at the town’s wall, looking over Phillip saw it moving again, it wasn’t a dog, but it was too fast for a person, he loaded the rifle and pointed it, trying to get a good view on the thing, there was a howling as a dog came around the corner, leapt and bit hard into his arm, Phillip panicked and started swinging his arm at the wall, the dog yelped at the same time as something pulled him by the legs and dragged him off into the field, taking the dog with him, there was a rustling as the shadow of a girl moved out of view and the dog pounced onto Phillip, who just at that moment, forced a knife through its throat; He sat up, panting excessively somebody had tried to kill him, somebody or something?
The next day Phillip sat in front of the doctor, who was busy stitching up the bites on his arm, there was a strange aura in the room, like somebody was there, when the doctor had finished there was a short silence before he stood up and walked out, there was a shadow on the wall of a man with a cloak on and a hat, Phillip just stared, there was nobody else in the hall, So he turned and started running, the shadow keeping up with him, getting closer, the arm reached out of the wall about to grab him, then he hit the door, his face started stinging, his head was spinning with what had happened, and then, he finally realised he was just imagining the incident. Phillip walked through the waiting room, it was completely empty, yet there was a distinctive giggling somewhere in the room, he looked around there was nobody around to make the sound, just at that moment a bell started ringing and Phillip Collapsed, he woke up back where he thought he had killed the dog, it was still dead, but he was covered in blood, some of it was still warm and wet, it was obviously another person’s blood, he stood up and brushed himself off as Phillip started to make his way out of the forest, he kicked something; He looked down and stared, there was the teddy bear it’s throat was slit open and instead of fluff, there was blood coming out, trailing down to where Phillip woke up, He dropped the dog and started to cut the teddy bear up into pieces and threw them in different directions. Phillip then picked the dog up and carried it up to the farmers house and knocked on the door, there was a ruffling noise coming from inside but then the Farmer opened the door, handed Phillip the money and took the dog from him, closing the door behind him, Phillip turned around and headed out of the Farm, Towards Veroniville. There was a Distinctive silence in the town as everybody put flowers on a statue with a picture of a little girl the statue was just of the town’s founder holding a little girl on his shoulders and a dog by his side, Phillip just shrugged the flowers and pictures off of his mind as he walked over to his house, he tried to unlock the door but the key wouldn’t go in the hole, he tried it again and again, but something was blocking it, getting tired of this Phillip put the key under a plant pot and headed back to the farm, he put his hand on his rifle, but he couldn’t move it no matter how much he pulled it, it wouldn’t budge from its spot, he finally managed to get it off of the chair and stroked it from top to bottom, it was unusually cold, and it had been under a radiator, he pointed the barrel of the rifle into the air and pulled the trigger, nothing happened, he tried again and still nothing happened, getting sick of this foolery Phillip forced open the ammunition cartridge and checked it, it was full, filled to the brim with bullets, he forced it back in and pointed it upwards and pulled the trigger again, nothing happened, Phillip growled slightly as he pointed it at a sheep and pulled the trigger, there was a unusually strong Recoil and forced Phillip was pushed against the wall, satisfied with the results, he continued his way down to Veroniville again, when he got home he looked through the key hole, there was something blocking it, he put the barrel of the rifle inside the key hole and pulled the trigger, there was a loud cracking noise as the lock broke, and the thing inside the keyhole was pushed out, unusually there was a barking, a wolf’s bark if Phillip wasn’t mistaken, he opened the door and stared in horror as the mounted wolf’s head started barking, he pointed the rifle at it and fired, within seconds of pulling the trigger, the stuffing fell out of the mounted head, Phillip groaned in annoyance as he put the rifle down by the door and walked through into the kitchen, he stared next to the teapot again was the teddy bear, except this time it was standing on two legs and holding the tea cup. Phillip grunted as the tea pot was thrown at him, cutting his right arm, the blood running down off of his hand as a shard of the tea pot was thrown at his leg; Grunting as the shard drove itself deep inside his leg, cutting a nerve as he fell down onto the floor, screaming slightly as the air got cold and tight around his ankle pulling him into the kitchen, he grabbed the shard that was in his leg and forced it at whatever it was that was pulling him, there was a scream and there was a blur of a little girl running into the living room, the Teddy bear then fell off of the kitchen bench, dead and lifeless. Phillip got up and limped towards the living room, there was more giggling as a lamp was knocked over, then suddenly there was something around Phillips neck, Something that didn’t have fingers, something entirely un-human, he looked down as far as he could and saw the teddy bear wrapped around his neck, tightly gripping it like a cobra on its prey, Phillip coughed as his vision blurred and everything started going dark, and then, he closed his eyes. Phillip leaned up and looked around, the teapot was broken; the light was still smashed into little pieces on the living room floor, He looked up there was a head of a statue, it looked exactly like the town’s statue’s head, it was just floating there in front of Phillip, as if it was on an invisible chair or table, he blinked and it was gone, there was something very wrong going on in the house, he stood up and ran towards the door, he reached for the door handle but it wasn’t there, he blinked it still wasn’t there, he turned around and ran towards the window, he started noticing that there was a wall instead of a window in its place he stopped and ran towards the kitchen, the door was on fire, Phillip ran through the door, for some reason he didn’t catch fire or feel any heat, he turned around and head towards the back door, Phillip ran straight into the door, there was a lock on it, he turned around and the sink was overflowing with blood, instead of water there was blood coming out of the taps, within seconds there was blood up to Phillips ankles, he started to panic, he ran back into the living room, jumping over the burning door as he did so and grabbed his rifle, pointed it at the lifeless blood-covered teddy bear and pulled the trigger, he fell on one knee as the bullet somehow ended up in his left leg instead of the teddy bears, Phillip grunted as he started limping towards the kitchen again, he walked over to the teddy bear and picked it up he scowled at it as he walked into the hallway towards the bathroom, the bathroom door was frozen in an ice block, he yelled in pure anger as he forced his hand into the ice-made barricade, his hand went right through it, surprised Phillip limped into the ice block, opened the door and walked into the bathroom instead of water in the bath, toilet and sink. Phillip stared as he forced open the toilet’s seat and put the teddy bear down the toilet seat put the toilet seat back down and flushed it away. Everything returned to normal, the house, his leg, even the sink, there was no water or blood in sight. Phillip sighed in relief as he walked back through to the kitchen and put the kettle on, just at that moment there was a giggling, a scream, and the sound of a hammer breaking wood, He looked round the corner to see the teddy bear standing there with a toy hammer with nails sticking out of it and a little girl standing behind the teddy bear in a bride’s maid’s dress, Phillip turned around and started to run for the front door, but something caught his leg and pulled him down towards the kitchen again, he started to hold onto anything he could, but a whip of air pulled his fingers from around it and hauled him in one great pull, he looked up, the sweat on his forehead ran down onto the floor just as the sweat hit the floor, the Teddy Bear brought the hammer down repeatedly, brutally killing Phillip Rillbay
