    Hey, my name is Tucker Monticelli [IloAthe you too] and I have been really wanting to read a good book called HERO by Parry Moore. Thats basically why I'm writing this story. The book Hero is about a young kid who is growing up with super powers. But he’s also struggling with another thing, his homosexuality. This story really got me thinking about my favorite and often overlooked X-men, North-Star. North-Star was the first ever gay X-men. He first appeared in the sort lived series Alpha Flight. This was a Canadian league of mutants based in Montreal [I think]. Anyways he throughout his storyline struggled with his identity. Mostly it was because America and the readers themselves were struggling with homosexuality as a social issue. Finally he outed himself and that was that. He and most of Alpha Flight were lost in the clutter of new and more famous X-men. But I wanted to devote a story about just him and his sister. And what growing up was like before Alpha Flight and after. I still have research to do and I warn you if your a big X-men fan of fan of Alpha Flight and North-Star, I will probably get most of the legitimacy's wrong. So please just sit back and enjoy where I go with him and his life and PLEASE write me [PM] if you have suggestions! Thank you for reading! I plan on going up to North-Stars Alpha Flight history which might be 20-30 parts depending on how I break it up. If I'm up to it I'll write past that.
