• Then it sounded like a door was being opened, some harsh bumping, and deep, yet female, mumbling. "Oh, heavens! Tell me this girl isn't kissing this injured boy!" There was the voice again, getting higher by the word.

I pulled my head back and opened my eyes. After I ran the voice through my head again, I noticed that the woman had an English accent. I studied her from the top of her head to the heel of her boots. I closed my eyes and opened them again after four seconds. The woman was gone and Tyler woke up.

    "Nice kiss," he said, smiling.

    "Shut up."

    "Fine. I will."

I waited. Silence. "I didn't mean it." I whispered. Tyler had a frustrated look on his face. "Answer me." I demanded, my tone turning harsh. More silence. "Darn it, Tyler! Answer me!" I screamed, tossing my Elizabeth Cody Kimmel book on the floor. Even more silence. I was glaring fiercely at Tyler. "J... Just forget it. G... Goodbye." I whispered, grabbing my book and strutting out the room with tears watering up in my eyes.

I was lying in my bed with my clothes on, trying hard to get Tyler out of my head. I didn't bother to brush my teeth or get my pajamas on. I turned my head to the left and fixed my eyes on my black digital clock. It read 1:03 A.M. "Augh. Close your eyes and think of your 'happy place', Rami!" I thought aloud. Then, an unexplainable, tragic thing happened.
