• Chapter Six

Amira got to Mother Moon, with a protesting Amber following, and said, " Mother Moon. I have a question for you."

" Ah, so the little invisible star speaks to me at last. You have not done so since the first night you came here." Mother Moon smiled.

" How did you summon earth angels to live in the sky? Why did you?" Amira asked.

Mother Moon glared at Amber. " Do you not know what secrecy means?!"

" I'm sorry! It slipped out!" Amber apologized quickly.

" Sorry, does not work on me little Amber. The next time you annoy me, you'll end up as little Amira, though I doubt you will last as long." Mother Moon threatened.

Amber was truly terrified. Amira could tell. Now she wished she hadn't went to Mother Moon. She had forgotten how mean she was. " Moon, do not take your anger out on Amber. She did nothing but tell the truth. It is me you should punish, not her."

" Amira, i couldn't possibly punish you. You have my greatest punishment. And you have not died yet." Mother Moon smiled at her.

" But, Mother Moon, I love it here. Wouldn't the greatest punishment for me to send me back to earth?" She lied. She hated it here. But Mother Moon didn't know that.

" Hmmmmmm. That is true... you do seem to love it here. Alright Amira. Your punishment will be sending you back to earth." Mother Moon said.

I did my best not to show my joy. I must be saddened. I thought of the three years of sadness that this curse had made me suffer, and that just about did it. I started crying.

" Good. But, since your crying, you get to pick the place you want to land in. Anywhere will be good." Mother Moon asked.

The last place Amira had seen Jake was in the forest. She pointed to the same one. " Near there... I guess..."

" Excellent choice. You could never survive there." Mother Moon said.

Then the sky was gone. Amira was in a crater near the forest, wearing the same clothes She was wearing the night She had died. Her favorite blue shirt and a pair of faded jeans. Her hair was longer than it had been before, and she was sparkling. Little black sparkles were all over her, and she started crying then. No one could see her like this. They would think that she was an earth angel, like i was, but they couldn't know that. She would die.

Her tears landed on her arms, and the sparkles vanished. She smiled in relief. The sparkles came off with water. She laughed at myself.

Amira thought that her being in the sky for three years would have made walking difficult, but it wasn't. She walked toward the city, where she thought he would be, and used her powers to talk to him.

    Chapter Seven

Jake! For gods sake, ANSWER ME! A slightly familiar voice yelled in Jakes head.

OW! Who are you? He asked the voice.

Wow. Honestly, you don't remember my voice? Thats just sad, totally and completely sad... The voice said.

Wait. Ami? Jake dared to hope that it really was her.

Yes idiot! Where are you? She said.

AMI! Jake yelled in his mind.

Owwwwww. Don't do that please. She asked.

Sorry. I'm just so happy to see you! Where have you been? He asked her.

Hell. Trust me. Where are you? She asked again.

I'm in the woods. But just stay where you are. I'm coming for you
. It was true. Jake was already flying, searching for Amira.

He found her, sitting on the ground, staring up at the sky, looking for Jake. She smiled when she saw him.

Jake landed, and hugged Amira tightly. " Ami! Your back!"

She laughed. " Yes I am. And I'm glad about that too."

OK! SORRY! I HAVE TO FINISH THIS LATER!
