• You can't say goodbye to yourself, so how do you leave your loved one? Most people simply say they don't love them anymore, but it's a lie. You can't discard their love as well as your own. A lot of people use someone else as a cover up. I don't know why they do that, but they just do. It's truly sad to watch people lie to each other saying that they don't love the other. You might think that when a person says that they don't love you anymore that they're telling the truth. Well, you're wrong. I've only been in two relationships, both of which had ended. One of them was cheating on me but the other said he didn't love me. Liar. I guess it doesn't really matter but I'll tell you how it went anyway-
    We sat on the park bench watching the ducks in the pond, enjoying the uneasy silence that filled the air. A couple holding hands walked by and he sighed.
    "I think that maybe we should, you know."
    "Break up." I filled in for him.
    "Well, yeah, if you want to put it that way."
    "I do."
    The uneasy silence came back and I breathed in deeply.
