• ALEX WAS A VISIONARY. Those were the words carved into his tombstone,
the one thing that tethered Alex to the world of the living besides Kai’s memory. She
could not understand what had caused Alex to do what he had done on that horrible of nights but she so desired to know what had caused that mental breakdown. And when she finds this evil force, who or what ever it was will wish they had never come into existence.

“My Lord the report is in that prattling old fool finally confirmed that Alex is in the ground.” Good the mysterious figure thought “You know, Daemon, when I saved you
from death and you swore allegiance to me I thought you understood that when I say that
I want to be called Lord Kronos I meant every time unless instructed otherwise…”
Daemon felt as if the world was pushing down on him and everyone in it was laughing
watching him squirm. “L-L-Lord Kronos please allow mercy on your unworthy servant.” “I will, for it would be such a waste to kill a useful mortal loyal to me. But be warned… if this impiety occurs again I see a very dismal future for you.” And on that note Kronos
waved him away and became a recluse in the lowest depths of his thoughts focusing on only the most important of issues, and Daemon left in an excessive haste because he had seen what happens when his master gets angry… and he did not want a first person view of that.

In a few weeks Kai had found herself in luck on a most favorable night while
trying to bribe information from a well informed bartender, who was so greedy that
all purchases came with an automatic tip of $3, when a man was sitting a few stools away
called her over. She let curiosity get the better of her and decided to waive her
interrogation of the bartender who smelled like someone who spends a little too much time
with his drinks and walked over to the scraggly looking man. He seemed to have drinking
too much as well, it was as if the words were being lacerated by his lips as they passed by
them. “Ma’am who’dja says you was lookin fer?” “Well I’m looking for someone who seems to be able to control or inspire those to do his deeds. possibly from a distance” Demurred by The Mans vacant stare she gave up “but I very much doubt you can help…” in a shocking display of intelligence and sobriety the man stated “Actually ma’am I know of the precise person your looking for. Unfortunately I cannot tell you who he is, but he is indeed real. Although to some he is still a chunky mess still scrambled in Tartarus, if you think about that you may be able to figure out who you’re looking for.” And then, after the mysterious mans mysterious and very helpful conversation with Kai, the bartender asked “Who are you talkin to?” Kai turned around and looked straight at were The Mans eye’s had been only a second ago… but the image she saw was that of a dirty old bar floor.

“Gabriel, Gabriel, Gabriel what am I going to do with you?” Kronos chuckled
while Gabriel was suspended due to Kronos’s strength of will will. “Kronos go back to that god forsaken pit you came out of!” “Gabriel that is highly offensive… you’re so lucky you’re immortal!” Kronos hissed at Gabriel who was giving Kronos a stare of raw hatred and anger. “That’s the thing with you immortals, you can’t die, so I come up with creative punishments but you still feel bold and tough so you keep provoking me.”
“And it is quite obvious that insults and threats won’t bring down your ego-” “I do not
have an ego, and besides your one to tal-” “SILENCE! As I was saying so it looks like
I’ll just have to throw you down into that lovely place I called home for 1, 2, 3000
years!!!” With an emotionless face Gabriel had one thing to say “You can do that Kronos
but just remember… I will come back for you and when I do I hope you’re ready cause it
will be the last time you’ll see me… or anyone.” And even as Kronos felt powerful and
victorious he also felt those fateful words come back and bite him in the a**.
