• Andromeda trudged through the snow, in the forest outside of a fairly large city called Neotopia. The poor young soul was lost and alone. With her uncle dead, the poor demon had no family nor friends to turn to for shelter or food. "I hate my life..." She said, sitting down in the snow, under a tree, starting to sob, "why must I be forced to go on? Chase is dead, because of me, my family hated me and dumped me on his doorstep, the Heylins think I'm dead, why am I still here?!" She cried out, as the wind carried away her cries. "UNCLE CHASE! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, I'M SORRY!!" She shrieked to the sky loudly.

The winds suddenly seemed to get sharper, and stronger. The winds seemed to lash at her body like a whip o' nine tails, feeling as if each lash felt like a frostbite. She sobbed and cried, her tears streaming from her eyes like a waterfall. She sat down, tears glistening and falling from her eyes.

"I can only use this ability once... and now is the time to use it..." she said between sobs, wrapping her cold tail around her body, and lowering her head. "I'll freeze myself... whoever is unlucky enough to find me can kill me... I don't care... I have no reason to move on..." she sobbed, then, that very thing, started to happen...

Her heartbeat started to beat faster, getting more blood pumped through her body. Her locket released more magic in her body, protecting the last of her life force. She closed her eyes, and her body started loosing heat. In only minutes, ice sickles were hanging from her head and other parts of her body. She looked almost dead, but if somebody were to look close enough, they would be able to see her life force was protected, and she was safe. Her heart stopped pumping and she stopped breathing, if nobody came to thaw her, and things hadn't changed by the time she thawed out, she would die, in only a matter of minutes. Now, she was just a frozen reptile, waiting for anything, or anyone, to find and free her from her frozen prison.

Three days later, a robot with dark blue and white armour that was as white as the snow below him was idly flying through the forest. He hovered slowly a few inches off the ground. His name was Zero, the Winged Knight. This day didn't seem that interesting, that's when something caught his eye. He turned his head, and looked under a tree.

He hovered over for a closer look. It was some kind of reptile with red scales and blue frills. "Hmmm... interesting..." Zero remarked, then noticed the tear-like markings under her eyes, which were dirty reddish-brown like her stripes. Gently, trying not to damage it, he felt the side of her face, and felt a small bump where the tear markings were. "Captain and the others might be interested in this!" He said. He dug around the tail of the frozen creature, and was extremely gentle so he wouldn't damage it. He picked it up and held it against his chest gently, knowing the end of her tail or her frills might break off if he was to rough. He then flew off.

"Zero? What are you doing?" A boy asked. Zero arrived at what seemed to be a normal house. "Shute, Captain, Bakunetsumaru, have a look at this." Zero said, showing them the scaly thing he found. The boy jumped back. "What is that thing?!" He said, alarmed. "Don't worry, it's frozen, it can't hurt anything or anybody." Zero assured. Another robot, this one with white and light blue armour, looking nothing like Zero, walked to the scene. "Zero?" He asked, "what is that... strange creature in your hands?"

"I'm not sure myself Captain," Zero said, "I was wondering if we could take her to the SDG, maybe find out what it is, or was." Zero was sure it was dead, but something inside him told him that it was still alive, just... sleeping.

A mouthpiece appeared over Captain's mouth, and a green eyepiece appeared over his right eye. He scanned the creature that was Andromeda. "Fascinating..." he remarked, "I'm detecting a life force within it, and what is, or was, unidentified energy. Very peculiar."

The boy jumped back, "Captain, are you saying that thing is ALIVE?!" He said, shocked. "Affirmative," Captain replied simply. "Well! We need to thaw it!" The boy said, "that thing could be dead!"

"Let's not jump to conclusions," Captain said, "it's alive, but it could be that it's supposed to do this. I'm not sure what animal it is, but we should leave it alone."

"Captain, it's a reptile obviously," Zero said, "can reptiles freeze themselves?"

Captain raised an invisible eyebrow. "That is true," he said, "let's take it to the SDG, and see what we can learn about it."

"Y-yes, let's," the boy said, "I think it's getting colder..."

Soon they were at this place known as the 'SDG', or Superior Dementional Guard.

"Kenpu!" A voice suddenly shouted, as a third robot with red and white armour with some gold on him jumped out, holding a pair of katanas, one in each hand, "Tenkyo--"

"It's us you buffoon!" Zero shouted, clutching Andromeda carefully but protectively, "not the Dark Axis!"

"Meh, still a reason to attack." He said. He then noticed the creature in Zero's arms. "What is that thing?!"

"That's what we're going to find out," Captain said, "we think it may be alive."

"Alive?!" He answered, freaked out, "it's frozen and it's still alive?!"

    "Bakunetsumaru, calm down!" Shute said.

"What's going on in here?" A female's voice asked suddenly. Everybody turned around. A tall woman wearing a blue skirt and blue and white jacket and white heels entered the scene.

"Milady," Zero said, facing her, "I found this... frozen creature... somewhere out in the forest outside of Neotopia, we came hoping you could look over it." He said, speaking as politely as possible.

"Hmmm..." the woman said, looking at the creature in Zero's arms, "come with me, I'll run a scan on it." She said. Everybody nodded as the red robot who startled everyone sheathed his swords. She left the room, everybody else followed.

"Put it right there," the woman said, pointing to a device hooked up to her computer. Zero nodded and did so. Juli turned it on and typed a few commands on her computer. A red light scanned Andromeda's body, getting as much info as possible and then going into the computer. "Strange, according to the scanner, it's still alive, but dormant. It's not an animal of any sort, but... other than that I can get much info." Juli said.

"What's going on in here?" A voice said from the hallway, as the chief entered. "Chief Haro, Zero, Captain, and Shute found this strange creature out in the forest. It's alive, but frozen and we aren't sure what's keeping it alive." Juli said.

Haro approached the strange creature, examining it, touching her frills and a few places on her face and body gently. "Strange, it seems frozen from the inside out, yet you said it was still alive? Very peculiar... I would think that since reptiles are cold-blooded that it'd die." Haro said.

"It's very strange," Juli said, "Chief Haro, what should we do with it?"

"Thaw it," Haro ordered, "if it's still alive, and only trapped in this prison, it needs to be thawed. Be very careful, the frills look very delicate."

"Yes sir," Juli said, picking Andromeda up, then shivering. She was very very cold, being frozen to the bone. She walked out of the room, out of curiosity, Zero followed.

About an hour later, Andromeda was thawed. Her heart wasn't beating and she wasn't breathing. She seemed dead. She was taken into a room by herself to recover, if she would recover, that is...

Zero sat in a chair beside her bed. Since they were sure she was a wild animal, they put a chain on her leg so she wouldn't run away.

Soon, Andromeda's heart came back to life. Slowly she started breathing again. Zero looked at her, gasping lightly. It was alive! Andromeda's hand twitched a bit, as she struggled to breath. She slowly opened her eyes. "Am I dead yet?" She whimpered faintly, "is this hell?"

Zero looked surprised. It could talk? "No," he answered gently, "you're alive."

Andromeda looked at Zero with scared eyes. She backed up, and realized she was restrained. She whimpered faintly. "It's alright," Zero said reassuringly, offering his hand, "I will not harm you."

Andromeda sniffed his hand a bit, then backed up. She looked at Zero fearfully. Zero moved his hand to stroke her. She tried to bite his hand, and hurt her teeth. "Ow!" She winced. Her teeth were sensitive, as was most of her body. "It's okay," Zero said, "I won't hurt you. Don't strain yourself to avoid me."

Andromeda gulped, but approached him slowly. She regretfully let him stroke her. Zero was very gentle. Her scales felt cold as her body temperature was very low. "If it isn't a problem," Zero started, "why did you freeze up like that?"

"You mean into a block of ice practically?" Andromeda asked, she layed down, and shivered. "Could I have a blanket or a heat lamp first? I'm freezing my tail off...." She shivered. Zero nodded understandingly. "Wait here," he said as he left the room. Andromeda layed there, cold. Waiting for Zero to return with eather a heat lamp or a blanket.
