• Five years ago, a banished doctor released a poison in the air. This poison was not made to kill the victims directly, but through a slow, tormenting process. This process consists of turning the victim slowly and painfully into an animal. The doctor who put this curse onto the world is named Betu Tiuwe.

    THE DEVIL OUTSIDE THE WALLS

An old woman, aged like dust, came out of her stone hut and shook her head slowly, remorsefully. The woman lowered her head as a mother cried uncontrollably in her husband's arms. "I'm sorry. With the technology we have at hand, we cannot save he-"
"It's from that devil isn't it!?!" the mother screamed, "That devil outside the walls!!"
The old woman kept herself quiet and still. What the screaming mother was saying could have been fact, or false. There was no way of knowing here, in this small isolationist town. "Either way, m'lord and lady, what will you do with the young miss?"
It was a chilling question that a mother should never be asked, whether or not to throw out her child. The mother looked at her husband, as he had the majority vote anyway.
The man did not speak for a long, silent moment. Finally, he stopped searching for an answer and said, "The public shall not know about this, and neither shall she. As a father, I must request my selfish reasoning be upon you as well."

Two hours past midnight, the whole town woke up from a deafening scream. More than twenty people ran into Princess Mina's room, and gasped at the sight.
Mina's arm was covered in blood, and Ameria's mouth filled with fangs was covered in the same blood. Ameria was on all fours, and her eyes were glowing in the dark like a cat's. She was frozen like an animal which had just been seen.
"A-Ameria..." her mother took a step forward from the group, then she took another, and another.
Ameria, an animal at that point, felt threatened, and jumped on the woman in front of her.
The servants and older children pulled her off of the woman, and held her firmly despite her thrusts. The Lord helped up Ameria's mother silently while Ameria screamed and growled agitatedly. Her father looked her in the eyes. "Get the doctor, and stop Mina's bleeding." His orders were frosty, and he did not look away from Ameria, "And get my sword."

The lord drew his sword, and raised it above his head.
"Father?" Ameria blinked, "Where am I-"
