• “Oh my gosh did you see David today? He looks SO hot.”
That’s kind of what my lunch table sounded like every day. All we really talked about was school, boys and clothes. Maybe even more than that. One day, I saw Miki walk up to our table.
    “Um, hi Emi.”
Wait. Why was Miki talking to me? Oh right, she’s not popular anymore. Why should I worry? She probably is going to beg for forgiveness and try to take over again.
“Miki I thought we told you to go away?” Says one of the girls at my table.
“Don’t worry, I have a restraining order with her.” Yuuka says holding up a piece of paper in Miki’s face.
“Girls, taker her away.” she continues. Two girls come up and grasp Miki buy the arms.
“Wait! I just want to talk to Emi!!” she screams trying to break free.
“Drop her.” someone says. That someone is......me. I can’t believe what I’m saying. I think.
“But Emi,” Yuuka says a little shocked.
“Don’t worry, I just want to know what she wants to say. I trust her.” I reply.
The girls drop Miki on the ground and she quickly gets up.
“Um, what I wanted to say was, the way you stood up to me was really brave of you, and that I wouldn’t of bin able to do that to anyone I knew. So uh...I’m sorry.”
I’m a little surprised. You would think that she would be so mad that she wouldn’t want to ever talk to me again, but I guess not. It’s uber weird.
“I dought she means that, come on Emi, lets go.” Says one of the girls.
They all start walking away back to our table.
“Wait! I think she does mean that, I know she did something that was truly mean, but that doesn’t meant we cant give her another chance!” I object.
They look at me, then at each other, then at Yuuka.
“Well, she does have a point.” One of the girls say.
“Yeah, maybe we should give her another chance.” Said Yuuka.
I smile. I turn my head to Miki and she is smiling a little too. I Walk up to her and say, “Welcome back, Miki.”
“Ohmigosh! Thank you so much!” Miki says with excitement and jumps up and down with my hands in hers. I giggle.
“Now come on, we were just discussing boys, and we need your expertise for Mia, she wants a boyfriend but can’t decide between Chris or Lewin.
And we walk back to the table with big smiles on our faces.
