• "No one would miss me." I said in an apathetic voice, yet I knew on the inside both Axel and I knew it wasn't the truth.

That's not true..!" Axel said abruptly, "I would." He added as an afterthought. I jumped slightly as the portal of darkness I requested
popped up. Before Axel could say anything else, I was gone. I couldn't think of anywhere else to go, but to Twilight Town. I just wanted to get back my old life, without me knowing that I was a Nobody, without fading away into nothingness. I just wanted to make the memories of The World That Never Was disappear.

    Two Years Later

Roxas woke up in a cold sweat, again, for the sixth time that week. He had that dream again. He was fighting a man with red hair; they were both in black cloaks. He had a keyblade...? What the hell was a keyblade?! He glanced over at the time, and saw that it was ten minutes before his first class started. He was now 20, and going to Destiny Island Community College. He had a small group of friends who went to the same school. He had Kairi, Olette, Pence, Hayner, Lea, and Riku for friends. He had known Kairi since what seemed like forever, even if it has only been since sixth grade in middle school. He met the rest of the gang on the first day of college, and quickly became
    friends with all of them.

As Roxas sat in class with Lea and Riku, passing notes, as usual, he realized something. Lea looked like she could have been a female version of the man from his dreams. He quickly wrote a noteto Lea: Hey, Have you ever seen a male version of you, with a black cloak on? He passed it to Lea, who was to the left of him. No, well, once, kinda... Roxas was puzzled. What do u mean, kinda? He waited for too long for Lea's reply. Eventually, it came. I think I had a dream about him once. He kept calling himself "Axel." And he said "Got it Memorized" a lot too. In Roxas' head, everything seemed to click. Axel: Lea'X'. Lea's Nobody. Roxas. Sora'X'. Sora's Nobody. Roxas was a Nobody. Sora was trapped somewhere, and Roxas needed him to return to the world. Sora didn't exist without his other half. What the hell was he supposed to do?

He suddenly got poked awake by Riku, who was quite annoyed. He had dozed off in chemistry class again.

    Two Months Later

Roxas had made up his mind. Granted, he only had a month of
summer, but he needed to find his other half. He found The World That Never
Was, and walked straight into a battle scene. There was a great flash of fire,
and then, nothing. Sora was standing there, looking around confused. Roxas saw
Axel on the ground, fading away. "Axel!" Roxas shouted, as he ran over to the
man, his lover. "Axel..." Don't go, please. I'll do anything.” He heard a
chuckle, which turned into a cough quickly.

"So, you finally remember. Y'know, today was the three year
anniversary of when you left us." Longest anyone has ever been missing, without
fading." As Axel said this, Roxas felt a tingling in his left hand. He was
becoming transparent. "Heh. Spoke to soon, eh, Blondie?" Roxas smiled sadly.

"At least, we can stay together, forever." Roxas said,

"Y-yeah." Axel replied, closing his eyes for the last time. Roxas bent down, and held Axel as he disappeared into the Nothingness. Roxas shed one tear, and faded away completely, with his Axel.
