• My eyes widened, I couldn’t feel my heart beat. The pain in my head had leaked into every nerve in my body. My vision wasn’t what you’d call ‘normal’. A line from The Wizard Of Oz suddenly came into my head. ‘Todo, I don’t think we’re in Canvas no more’. Well, I don’t think I was actually ‘in’ the supermarket at that moment. Everything around me was on fire. It was dark, and all I could see was blinding, corruptive fire. I could hear evil cackles coming from all over the room. A scream came from the back of my throat, a scream I didn’t even know I had. I started yelling.
“FIRE! FIRE! EVERYONE MOVE!” I yelled, tears coming from my eyes.
Panic went on every else’s faces as well now, and their hands reached for me. Suddenly, they began to change. Their skin began to burn off, and their bare bones reached for me, trying to grab me. I couldn’t stop screaming, until finally, I blacked out.
When I opened my eyes again, I was no longer in the hell that I had seen. Everyone was completely un-harmed, and there were no signs of any fire anywhere. I turned my head, and I was looking into the most beautiful pair of angelic eyes I have ever witnessed in my life. They were dazzling, baby blue, with no dark spots, not even a trace of a red vein crossing through the whites. The face they belonged to was also completely gorgeous, completely perfect. He had a strong, masculine jaw, and a perfect nose. There wasn’t any acne or imperfections; the only thing coming close to it was the creased line on his forehead as he worried.
“Are you alright?” He asked, with flawless articulation.
“I…I…” I tried to speak out, but his face had dazzled me so much I couldn’t speak.
He saw the way I was studying his face, and I noticed a small blush came onto his face.
“Oh, he’s in shock, isn’t he?” I heard the punk clerk ask.
A cute, twisted smile came onto his face.
“No, I do this to a lot of people.” He chuckled.
His hoisted me up with his strong hands, holding me up in a standing position.
“Are you alright to stand?” He asked, slightly letting go.
“Mph!” I mumbled as I fell into him, banging against his bare chest.
It was very cold, and I felt strange. He wrapped his arms around me to keep me up.
“I suppose you aren’t.” He said, not even a hint of worry in his voice.
“Is he going to be alright?” Someone asked.
“Yes, he’ll be fine. I’m a doctor, I can take care of him.” He purred.
I shivered at his voice. A doctor? I’ve always wanted to be a doctor, I find it interesting. He slowly rubbed his hand right below my neck, in a circle pattern. I started to un-tense, and I could feel my legs again after a few minutes. I could feel something else brewing up too. Uh oh… this isn’t right, that shouldn’t go up… I quickly pushed the man away, embarrassed at what had happened, and I ran to the bathroom… to… er… adjust.
