• I was so tired and I needed more blood. I craved it. I promised before I would never drink from humans but... I couldn't turn back now. I had to keep going. God my craving deepened! But then, I smelled it. I smelled her.

I could see her ahead, with her curly red hair and her amethyst eyes. I wanted her blood, and I had to have it. Maybe, because she knows I like her, she might let me have a taste... But no; controll is neccicary.

She got closer and stopped when she saw me. "Kai? Is that you?" She looked at my eyes and she backed away. "Kai..." She tried to take off running, but I caught her arm. It snapped in my grip and I knew it was broken.

But I didn't care. Here she was. I pushed her into an alley and against a wall. "Don't scream." I commanded as she kept a straight face. I pulled out my knife and stabbed her to teach her a lesson on not to hate people for who they are. I almost crushed her arm while doing so. "I won't cry." she said sullenly. "Stab me all you want! I promise, I wont give you the satisfaction of my screams. I wont tell you to stop. If killing me is what you have to do, do it! I'd like to die knowing you truly hated me."

This made me very mad. Thinking she could defy me? I think not. So I stabbed her right arm, the one I broke, and started to get bored with that one. So I turned her around to where she was facing me. She looked me in the eye with so much fierocity, I almost stopped. But I didn't. I kept going as she bit her lip trying not to scream for help. But I soon got bored with it all and let go.

"This is what you get for telling someone you hate them." I snarled at her. Her breath was short and shallow. "I don't hate you." She whispered. "I hate what you've become!" I slapped her face and then she started to cry. That is when I realized what I had done was wrong, and she was going to die.

"Julie! I'm so sorry! I-" I tried to help her up, but she moved away. "Stay away from me! I don't ever want to see you again!" Julie was losing so much blood, and I could hear sirens in the distance, so I took off. I left her there to die. I never wanted to hurt her. And I tried so hard to protect her, too.
