    “The Start of an Adventure”

The adventure begins in a peaceful village, in Ranxville.

Here lived two boys who are best friends and close neighbors, that their houses were only a few walks away. They are Ethan Carver and Benjamin (the villagers call him “Ben” for short) Cooper. They also have a very best friend, who is a girl; named Lianna Seranaire. As her parents called her. They even showed her a very odd birth certificate: old parchment that seemed to be handwritten by ink… but the doctors said it was true. Though Lianna sensed some emptiness in their eyes as they said this. She is a clever girl. And her parents? Kriss and Kirra Seranaire? They are a little old-fashioned compared in the world of the 21st century, and some say they go “cookoo” in their heads when they start talking about the craziest thing around the world—the realistic world—Real magic. And Lianna? She has a shining, odd-looking necklace that she wore since she was a baby. Her parents never told her why or how she got the necklace on her neck. She has bluish eyes with shining white little pearls like a baby’s, and a pretty, long, yellow flowing hair with a pretty blue headband. She always keeps her hair back. She’s the most creative of the three, and she actually is the one who influenced the boys of having an adventurous spirit, believing in magic and creatures. The villagers were awed by her love over magic. They are said to be “The Best of Friends in Town,” because they mostly, almost everyday, play and spend most of the time with each other. They are not in the same age, that’s for sure. But they play with each other just fine—age doesn’t matter anyway when it comes to the backyard. They play this game, which is called “Defeaters of Evil.” They have a backyard outside and a place big enough to play their game. Sometimes, they play as themselves, rescuing people from peril and defeating evil doers and monsters. Even Lianna plays as a bad gal sometimes. They always use their toy swords and bow-and–arrows for their weapons on defeating monstrous enemies, and Lianna uses a scepter-like toy wand that she made herself. She thought she had seen it before, she said… followed by “in a dream.” And the best part, they even wear costumes whenever they are playing. The villagers are used to that kind of behavior. She can turn her staff with only one hand, and do stunts and cool moves with her staff. It’s like she rehearsed all of it! Sometimes, they would say to each other: “I wished that there were real, challenging monsters that we can defeat!” Ben said. “Same to us,” Lianna replied. “That could be cool!” Ethan said. Lianna can also do stunts--like summersault, high-kicks, and other cool, unbelievable techniques. “Wow, Lianna, you can fight a whole army of enemies in our game with those stunts!” Ben would mostly say. And Lianna did! However, she did not really master her stunts yet. But who cares? Everybody’s still admires her moves. Yes, everyday was just peaceful and calm.
