• I always wanted to be a bird. They were so free, and could easily fly to where ever they wanted when they felt their current home made them uncomfortable. But it wasn't until now, sitting on this park bench alone, that i realized how bad i wanted to be one.For the fith time today,a pedestrian had stared wide eyed at the bruise that laid promptly under my cheek bone.
    "hannah!"
I grabbed my backpack and ran,my dad not far behind. But if i knew him as well as i think i did,he wouldn't hit me in suck a public place.Sure enough he began to walk the other way, cursing under his breath every other step or so.
I felt hands grab my shoulders, and realized i was still running, and had run into someone.
"Woah there, you okay?"i tried to hide my face
    "yeah,im fine"
"you sure?"he tilted my head up,and i couldn't help but notice his amazing blue eyes, and his semi long brown hair.I nodded
    "im alex,and you?"
    "hannah"
"well, hannah i hope you dont have plans for lunch" he said kind of doing a bow thing with his hands.i giggled for the first time in days.
    "nope,im free"
    "great,lets go"
After lunch we sat at a bench talking, and then he brought up the dreaded question.
"how did you get that bruise?"
i pretended i didnt hear him and started twirling my black hair.
"oh,i guess that was a bad question".i nodded my head.
And then it happened,he got closer to my face as if a gesture for me t odo the same. His blue eyes staring intently into my green eyes. But insead of a kiss,he turned and walked away.
"bye, hannah!"he waved his hand at me.
I sat there in shock.I could feel my cheeks blush.
So is this what love felt like?
