• "Princess! Your father said your not allowed to leave the castle!" Furiri raced along behind Serenity as they walked through a dark alley. "Don't worry Furiri. He probably won't yell at you." Serenity replied. She stopped to pick up a small coin from the ground. She bent over to pick it up and a large boot came down on the coin.
"Well, well, well. What is this? Why I do believe its a little rebellious princess." Furiri gasped as another man wrapped his arm around her neck.
Serenity turned around and looked at Furiri. Her eyes were wide with terror but she didn't dare scream. Serenity turned to look at the other man.
"Release her. She has done nothing to you. If you must you may take me but leave her alive and well." Serenity's jaw clenched and her hand drifted to her waist where she kept a small but sharp dagger.
Serenity swung around to look behind her as a sharp dagger pierced the second mans back. She looked back to see the first man but he lay dead in front of her. She saw a shadow drifting away in the distance but couldn't be sure if it was real. She shook her head then looked at Furiri.
"Well I guess that's enough adventure for one day. Let's go home." And with that Serenity rushed back toward the castle with Furiri at her heels.
