• chapter 5
Lavi was a little weirded out by Celton's friends. She did read about their species in story books, but never in her wildest dreams did she think they were real. Lavi was also an interest to them also because apparently she is some sort of prodigy. Time seemed to pass by slowly when she was with them.
" Okay so let me get this straight. I am a chosen one that has been sent from this tree people things to save the magical realm, and the human." Lavi said confused.
" That would seem exactly so, but we still need to know what powers you pocess. You seem to have some of the powers, but their is one that is more important than the rest. You have the ability to control the time around you, and you only," Humphrey explained while looking Lavi over.
"So that means I can make a time-field, so I can move time." Lavi said with eager eyes.
"Yes in certain radius you can stop, move, slow-down, and control all forms of time. That is why none of your species ever age." Humphrey explained again.
"Well don't vampires and werewolves stop aging also." Lavi asked again eyeing Slivia and Victor suspiciously.
" Well um not exactly, maybe Victor can explain the why vampires cannot age, and the same for Silvia." Humphrey insisted Lavi.
" Um Victor. Um why don't vampires age? I think I have an idea from all of the books I read-"Lavi was cutted short by Victor.
"Vampires or children of the night stop aging, after they become a child of the night. We are trapped in a more shaped and redefined versions of our older selfs."Victor said.
"Oh well that pretty much sums up my ideas on the books I have read." Lavi smiled teasingly.
"Well some vampire myths are true, but most of the time they are plain idiotic!"Victor spat.
"Well it is almost the same with werewolves, except in a few hundred years I will start aging." Silvia butted in.
Lavi was shaking her head to all this. She must be in a dream, that would be the only way to explain all the weirdness.
"I need to speak with you Lavi. It is important." Celton asked eagerly.
Lavi was in no mood to argue with argue with him; she just wanted to get away from all of the confusion.
" You know what! How in the world am I going to explain this to my mother, no way is she going to let me something like this. I am an adult though, but still I am the only person my mother has." Lavi wondered while following Celton.
" Your mom will understand, I am pretty sure she will. Anyways I have something you need to know." Celton said while fidgeting with his watch.
"What is it Celton?" Lavi asked hoping he would go on.
"They only way to save our world and the other is for you to be sacrificed." Celton said sorrowly.
"You mean I have to die! But why! Are you just teasing me." Lavi yelled at him wanting so bad to attack him.
"I know your upset, but that is the reason why your species the Hybirsia is exstinct because a long time some other leader of the guild got scared and didn't feel like waiting for the legend to come true. You are the last of your kind and the only way to save the world is for you to become the last of your kind to die." Celton tried to explain.
" Well that is just great! Oh hey Mom, guess what I am a sacrifice for this weekend, and I need your permission to go! Geez why me! Seriously! I mean this couldn't have happened to a pretty normal girl, but me!" Lavi was pretty much in hysterics right now. Celton came up to her and wrapped his arms around her and just started rocking her, until she stopped wailing and was just whimpering.
"I will try to see if there is another way to do this. I promise!" Celton whispered into her ear. Lavi let him hold her a little while longer, she liked being with Celton.
