• Xaryn was standing in front of the door. Almost motionless. It seemed as if we were a statue. But as soon as he saw he could fit through you ran so fast he was a blur.

    "So this is Earth....." Xaryn with his face completely emotionless. "Time seems to work differently here"
    It was night in earth. But in Tasophon it was Morning.

    Xaryn looked slowly at his surroundings with his hand on the hilt of his sword to be sure there was no bandits or muderers about.

    "Seems safe..." He said as he started to move away from the door. "Xaryn!" Said a very familier voice.
    Xaryn turned around and saw was his own two personal bodyguard. He was wearing red robed with a hood covering his face. He had a long double edged spear the size of his body and his voice can stop conflicts between two cities.

    "Menos.... Where is Manos?" Xaryn said looking puzzled as those two are never too far away from each other. "Turn around" Menos said. He did as Menos said expecting Manos to be there. But he wasn't.

    Manos then appeared behind Xaryn and grabbed his arms. "You lier!" Xaryn said to Menos. "I said turn around" Menos replied cheekily. "I never said Manos was there"

    "b*****d!" Xaryns shouted. "Oi Nii-san? Do we bring him back now?" Manos asked. Manos was Menos' twin brother. They looked exactly the same. had the same skills except Manos was a bit more laid back then his brother. "Yes Manos. We do." Menos replied.

    Just then a guard from a near city noticed them. "Stop right there bandits!" Said the guard. "Bandits?" They both said simntaniously "We are not bandits. we are his bodyguards." Said Menos
    "Riiight and as bodyguards you were told to have him in a hold so he can't get away?"

    While the argument went on Manos did a stupid thing and removeed his hands from Xaryn and scratched his head and put his other hand on his chin.

    Xaryn started to run. Menos noticed instantly. "You idiot!" Shouted Menos. "GET HIM!"

    Manos tried to follow but more guards showed up.

    "I do not need this" Manos said as he took out his double edged spear. They began to fight through the guards. Stabbing and cutting there way through them. The Guards noticed there skill was greater and many ran. Others stayed. The ones who stayed were killed. Manos had his spear up to the first guys neck when he realised they had lost track of Xaryn. "Oh crap Nii-san!" Manos said. "I know Manos... I know..."


    Xaryn was far away by now. He was smiling proudly... His smile faided however when it began to rain. "What the... Water falls from the sky here?" Xaryn said amazed but upset with the fact his clothes were soaked.

    "Oh I have an Idea!" Xaryn said to himself
    Then his markings glowed. they glowed like the moon and the stars in the sky. and a cloak appeared on him with a hood. He then slowly began walking again. With each step he grew colder and colder. his feet going into each puddle. "If I don't get shelter soon I'm gonna freeeze..." Xaryn said to himself with his teeth chattering.

    After another hour he was going to give up when he noticed that not too far from where he was. Was an inn. "Okay just a small bit farther....." He said to himself. He feared he would have to cut off his limbs because it was so cold. It was raining so much it was stinging his face. even with the hood up. He was happy when he got to the door of the inn. And walked in.

    As soon as he went in he ran up to the inn keeper and asked for a room. He said yes and took th money. Xaryn then removed his cloak and sat in front of a fire. After he cooled down he went to a table.

    At the table beside his he noticed a nice young woman. But there was something odd about her.

    It was the fact that she had wolf ears and a wolf tail.
    "Hello. I see you don't fit in either..." Xaryn said to her.
    The girl looked at Xaryn "Hello me is Mikomi Wolf-claw" Said The girl. "Well Mikomi I am Xaryn" He said as he put his hand out for the gesture of a handshake.
    Mikomi looked at Xaryn's hand. She smelled it and then licked it. "Umm yeeah" "Xaryn said with a none to happy face but Mikomi just sat there happy as can be.

    Not too long afterwards a large muscular man came up to Xaryn and Mikomi. He had a bald head and a scar shaped like a star on his nose. Xaryn could tell by looking at this man that he was a cocky, self centered behemoth...

    Xaryn just stared at him. The man stared back. Mikomi couldn't tell what was going on because she wasn't that good at noticing things.

    After a good few minutes of staring the man gave a big grin and turned around to his friends. They might have been his friends or the members of some gang because he didn't seem to be the type to have friends.

    "Hey guys look at these freak! Ha ha!" Xaryn could see Mikomi's expression change. She looked like she would cry. Mikomi closed her eyes expecting more ridicule. But not another sound came to her ears.
    She opened her eyes to see Xaryn standing behind the man and his sword to his neck.

    "You shouldn't make fun os somebodies looks and turn around leaving youself open. Especially me!" Xaryn said. The seriousness of his voice was so intense when Xaryn moved his sword he was still standing there. He only came to his senses when Xaryn kicked him in the back.

    "Dammit you freaks." He said walking off.
    Mikomi's saddness grew to huge joy."Xaryn-Kun help Mikomi!!! Xaryn is Mikomi's friend!" Mikomi said filled with so much happiness she squezzed Xaryn so hard he could hardly breath. "Mikomi-chan if you don't stop this may be a very short friendship!" Mikomi let go of course but the reaction caught Xaryn by surprise.
    "What does Xaryn-kun mean?" Mikomi said "What?Oh I mean that... Oh Mikomi-chan do you have anybody looking after you?" Xaryn said changing the subject. "No. Mikomi knew a nice lady though. But she went away. Mikomi is all alone now." Mikomi said.

    "Mikomi I'm so sorry..." Xaryn said "Sorry for what?" Mikomi replied. "She isn't too bright" Xaryn thought. "Mikomi do you have a room here?" Xaryn asked. "No... But inn keeper-san lets me sleep in here in front of the fire. He really likes Mikomi!" Mikomi answered smiling. "Hey Mikomi-chan. Do you want to travel with me? I could use the company" Xaryn said nervously.
    Mikomi sat there and a big smile grew on her face. "Mikomi would like that!" Mikomi said happily.

    Xaryn smiled "Oh hey since you don't have a room you can sleep in mine if you want..." Xaryn said slightly blushing. "Oh Xaryn-kun is so nice to Mikomi-chan" Mikomi said so loudly that everbody heard it.

    "Well Mikomi-chan I'm gonna go to sleep now you coming?" Xaryn said. Mikomi replied with a nod. "Oh yeah i forgot." Xaryn said and he took out a small amulet. "This is a two of a kind amulet" Xaryn said. "I'm giving it to you. I have the other one so we will always remember one another.!" Mikomi smiled and swiped the amulet and quickly put it on. "Come on Mikomi-chan" Xaryn said." The room was decent and had plenty space.there were two beds and a desk.

    "Goodnight Mikomi" Xaryn said but by the time he said it Mikomi was fast asleep.

    In the morning Mikomi made a large yawn wich alerted Xaryn she was awake. Who was at the desk. "Good morning Mikomi-chan!" Xaryn said "Hiya Xaryn! Wha about this morning is so good?" Mikomi said completly clueless as to what Xaryn had just said.

    "Umm.. Yeah well want some food?" Xaryn said after practically dying inside. "Nya!" Mikomi said with her head bobbing up and down.

    On there way down they saw the man who made fun of the them night before.

    "Oh hey guys its the freaks!" He said as the everbody started laughing. "Didja look in a mirror lately freakazoid?" Xaryn said. "Oi! The name is Val!"

    "Yeah yeah I'm Xaryn whoopdy ******** doo" Xaryn said displeased

    "Xaryn? I have heard that name...." Val said
    "Oh yeah. It was twelve years ago. At night I mugged a family. A man, a woman and a year old boy. I told them to give me more cash or they die. The mother replied the did not have anymore money. So i grabbed her neck and she yelled: Seloson! Take Xaryn and run! They ran but I killed the woman. I took out a lantern and found out that she had white hair and markings like you."

    Xaryn was shocked. "What was her name?" Xaryn asked. "Oh lets see.... Falei! (fah-lay)" Val answered

    "Y-you were the one wh-who killed m-my...." As he was mumbling his markings turned grey. "M-my Mother?!?!" With the last word Xaryn said the inn shook some people ran at the fear it might be an earthquake.

    Xaryn's appearence started to change. His markings covered grew and covered his entire body. His skin was grey from this. His pupil turned red the rest of the eye was pitch black. Then in the most demonic voice he said.

    "You shall pay!" Val's friends tried to run but Xaryn pointed his finger at them and they just fell to the ground. Dead. "Your turn Val!" Xaryn said showing an open palm to him. Then a red light appeared there and started to grow. Val tried to run but got hit by a red beam and it destroyed half the inn. Mikomi just sat there in shock.

    After that Val got up from the outside about 60 yards away. He noticed the inn and saw Xaryn jump out.
    "This is my chance to run" Val said to himself but when he turned around Xaryn was there. Xaryn kicked Val 50 feet into the air jumped up and slashed him with his sword. Val quickly fell to the ground with more then a few more scars.

    Xaryn appeared right beside Val who could not move from all the pain. "Your end is here!" Xaryn said as he took out his sword once more. He pointed it down and drived it as far as the space above his eyes.

    Mikomi was holding onto Xaryn. "Please don't" She said. Xaryn calmed down and returned to normal. "Thanks Mikomi.." Xaryn said. He the turned to Val who was crawling away. "And you! If I see you again you'll get out with alot mor then scars!" Val got up and limped away. "I think I should pay for the damages." Xaryn said walking towards the inn. "Thank you sir..." The inn keeper said when he got the money from Xaryn. "What are you looking for anyway?" He asked. "Well..." Said Xaryn searching for words. "I'm looking for a way to stop my people from starving.... In my home the crops are dying..." Xaryn said glommily.
    "Well I know how I can help." Said the inn keeper. When those words came to Xaryn's ears his expression changed. "The Silver Lining." The inn keeper said. "The Silver Lining is a type of silk that can grant wishes. The wearer of the clothes gets unlimeted ammount of wishes but there are some rules." Xaryn was amazed. "Tell me these rules!" Xaryn said but the inn keeper handed him a scroll. "The rules are in the scroll" The inn keeper said.

    Xaryn thanked the man and went over to Mikomi.
    "Well Mikomi. Now we start our journey." Said Xaryn
    "Hmmm? For what?" Mikomi replied

    Xaryn closed his eyes and said...

     "The Silver Lining!"
