Actually, yes. That's what I was getting at, in a nutshell. The narrator has realized that we, too, are a part of the world, and it isn't our place to destroy it.
He attempts to escape his 'cage', one built by society, and spread his message, but dies a martyr to his cause; later, the revolution he inspired becomes a success. (A hundred hands to lift me high.)
Anyway, I think I'll check out some of your poems now.
