• Artist Info: They say that the worst event to cause a heart is the feeling of grieve, vengeance and sorrow. It has been over a century since war and chaos had touched its hands upon the lands where three kingdoms rested for many generations before. Each kingdom with its own personality and attributes but all with one common cause; to rule with dignity and strength, and possibly take each other out at one point. But what caused disharmony between these three large kingdoms and yet no war has formed between them? It would seem like something wasn't adding up properly. This is where everything begins.

In the kingdom known as Grandilia, large cities and beautiful scenery bless the people who live amongst its terrains. There is peace and harmony, though even this kingdom has its secrets. Old tales speak of an ancient magic that was created by the gods to aid and defeat the greed and hatred in the war; the Inner Power. It was said that it was to be passed down to Grandilia to guard such a precious gift. The king at the time passed this magic to a secret but unique group of people deep within the Forgotten Woods. This is where such legends begin.

The Forgotten Woods has always been an enchanted part of Grandilia, for Grandilia is a kingdom with no magic to be seen with the exception of this one location. One would say the forest was abandoned and empty, but the truth is beyond a magic barrier that separates its secrets from the world. Behind this barrier, magic flows freely and protects it from any sorts of evil - a gift from this ancient magic. Further behind the trees that stand tall, a large kingdom in itself rested. It was Korillia, home to a unique race called the Korillian.

The Korillian would seem to be like any sort of human being in terms of features and personality; most likely why the Grandilian King decided to make a strong alliance with what was a magic bound race. However, there is a slight difference. The Korillian people all possess an insect guardian that comes to then when they reach the age of fifteen and stay with them until their life has ended. The guardian is a spirit that watches over them and will transform into a weapon best suited for the Korillian. The guardian insect also provides one magic ability to help them in their travels. The Korillian were ruled by a royal family; just as any sort of medieval kingdom would be.

The Korillian Princess was loved by everyone in Korillia. With a head full of long blonde hair and deep blue eyes and young, one would consider her the most beautiful person around. She was innocent and very curious to the world. She enjoyed reading books, drawing and playing in the grass that flowed through the forest floor. Her name was Melody. Melody was close to her parents and her people; almost as if she were the sunlight itself to everyone.

During a period of darkness over the three kingdoms, things were getting desperate to where the 'blame game' was beginning. Each kingdom decided to blame each other for their problems, though the reason behind the sudden accusations are unknown. This created the Grandilian Wars, where Grandilia decided to strike the two kingdoms first and declared war suddenly. Because Korillia was in an alliance with Grandilia, they had to go out and fight in this war as well. The war was bloody and horrible, but thanks to the Korillian the war was over and in the hands of Grandilia. However, this wasn't the end of such chaos.
After a long battle, the Korillian were returning home to see their families; including Melody's father who had led his warriors through battle. It was a peaceful night, or so they thought. It wasn't until later that dark clouds formed over the forest. It seemed like any normal storm, though Melody hated storms. As she was in her room looking at one of her books that her father had given her, she heard a scream outside, causing her to jump. She looked outside of her window to see smoke rising into the sky. She knew something wasn't right. She ran outside to see her father was already in battle, fighting strange black creatures that were attacking. She felt fear grow inside of her as she heard more approaching, roaring in the distance. More came, outnumbering the Korillian forces. As the night grew longer, the fall of brave Korillians occurred.

As she watched her parents fight, she couldn't help but feel a presence watching her. She looked towards the forest in front of her, seeing a dark man staring at her, his eyes red and the most sinister smirk was painted across his face. She didn't like it at all. Her attention was quickly withdrawn as she heard her father scream in pain. She looked, seeing that the demon had killed him right before her eyes. Tears flooded her eyes, and as she wanted to run towards him, she heard her mother scream to her, telling her to run.

Listening to her mother, she turned around and ran as fast as she could. Melody looked back, seeing that her mother was next to join her fathers fate. She couldn't believe this was happening, but she had to get out of here. As she looked back, she ran straight into something, causing her to fall. Slamming into the ground hard, she struggled to sit up. She looked up to see the dark man staring down at her with a blade surrounded by a thick, dark aura. He smirked, looking at her.
"Tell me, Korillian Princess, where is the Inner Power?" he spoke to her, though Melody was too afraid to answer to the man. Frustrated and angered with only the silence given as a response, the man drew what looked to be a blade made of darkness and slashed at her. By the end of the night, no Korillian stood alive.
It had been over a century since such chaos had touched upon the lands and by then everyone had forgotten of the Korillian's existence. However, it wasn't the end of them. A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes accompanied by a black and purple butterfly wanders the Grandilian lands with no purpose. She interacts with no one, speaks no words or shows any sort of natural human lifestyle. She is alone, and the only thing she could express is the deep sorrow that has stained the sorrow in her eyes.
