- Description: Redman was the star of a Japanese superhero television series made by the creators of Ultraman in 1972. Each episode saw Redman battling and slaying monsters with his Red Knife and crucifix-like Red Arrow in some undefined outdoor location, his battle cry of "RED FIGHT!" filling his foes with fear. The show's grimy, unsettling low-budget feel and lack of plot has led some to half-jokingly call it a series of kaiju snuff films...but only half-jokingly.
