@Bunai - there have been plenty of Luffy/ Ruffy cosplay got decent vote without the hat, it varies upon individual so in your case the hat makes a huge difference.
Anyway the eyes are wrong, the mouth throws me off. I understand the sense of the smoke, but I say try to find a background that matches the floor and such so people can really identify the episode and etc. I while however agree with Bunai that the hat would also give some define character to the cosplay despite the plac - Report As Spam
