Akito Sohma is "God" of the sohma family since they are Zodiac animals.
Akito is in fact FEMALE.
She was raised as a boy due to her mother's (Ren's) demands.
She also can be cruel to the sohma family members as such she "Slapped" kisa as she was walking down the hall.
She is also often sick or feverish.
