Description:
Taken at Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Went camping/canoeing/portaging there for six days with a group of eight other people. We had to carry all our own food and gear in massive packs on our backs and pump our own water from the lake. The most sophisticated thing we saw in six days was a fiberglass pit toilet. Canoed and portaged over 60 miles in those six days and probably crossed twenty or thirty lakes.
