This needs a lot of work, but its an excellent start for a new artist. What you are seeing with the eyes is that his left eye is further apart from the nose than the right eye. Second of all, as an artist, i KNOW you didnt come up with this pose in your head, because the face doesnt show signs of inital planning. look up figure drawing to shape is face right, because his jaw is kinda wonky.
