- lol, BGs are hard itself xP, if you do it in pencil, maybe you get a better idea, I think ppl is more used to erase pencil doodles than digital ones, if you use a tablet,... well Im not very experienced with tablet, but there are several tutorials for BG, for example in deviant art. look for one in the search of that site, it'll prolly help more a tablet user than a mouse ho :<
