- Description: Mod originated in London in the late 1950s. Mod style included fashion, various types of modern music, and SCOOTERS! In the 60s, the media used the term mod to describe anything that was cool. Rockers were jealous of our awesome scooters. The point is that me and my good friend and roommate are fans of these subcultures. We want to know who's better, so we're having an avatar competition. Whoever scores higher wins. Be fair. Keep Calm and Carry On, and all that.
