I just wrote this one last night, and it requires just a bit of a backstory.
So, about a month ago, I went to a national conference in Washington DC. I was only one of two representatives from my home state (Colorado). The boy who I'm writing about in this piece was not one of them.
I missed homecoming week at my high school for this conference.
(If you're wondering, the boy is now my boyfriend.)
