Dusk was chosen by the Lunar Spirit herself to become her Her Harbringer. A duty of a Harbringer is to act as the Element's manifestation, obtaining physical traits of the Spirit in the process. A Harbringer has powers similar to other magicians, but more specific to one element.His instrument of Magick is a Lantern given to him by the Lunar Spirit.
